I've just read translated chapters, so maybe I'm wrong.
But I think they are the same person. We are told by Yuuki, that he noticed the same smell (perfume) on her and also, that he pretty much never saw them both at the same time. Though, both were pretty easy dismissed by him with "I got hugged so smell transferred" and "she got low presence so I just don't notice her / just happens to be away" arguments.

Thinking how OP she is (time traveling for future tech), some kind of shapeshift ability isn't that unreasonable.

Anyway, is it explained why Arina is so obsessed about Yuuki? Though, I guess him being very nice and friendly to her, despite her being such a nuisance (or at least acting as) coupled with her yandere tendency is more then enough reason for her to go nuts.

She have time traveling skills. So it is more possible that the mother is actually Arina's future self than she have shape shifting powers.

Properly understands her place as a "visitor" in that world; she is clear that she doesn't know anything and can only move based on hunchs. When she actually bumps into an issue, she furthermore doesn't care in the slightlest if that something is "good" or "evil", she only cares if something can be of use to Yuki or not.

So, Arina is reactive. Whenever she finds an evil plot or scheme or something, she quickly "checks" if it is advantageou or not. If it can be used, she usually hijacks the evil masterminds and it's not pretty when it happens

In the current arc Yuki apparently caught bad attention since he basically appeared out of nowhere and he had a big influence on an issue related to princess Roze, the psycho magical girl already suspect him of doing bio manipulation on Roze.

Oh, what I have liked so far is that the author doesn't keep the characters "steady", he is moving around their relationships and making them change / evolve their feelings and express themselves more which sort of justifies the bats*t insane murdering outbursts the girls have Also, normally, in a Harem story; the author just focuses on adding more girls as if they were dirt on the ground, and at best develops a couple of them and only at one point; this author "from the get go" went for unveiling the core of the characters and shaking that a little bit, surprised me there. It's also funny how Arina's initial goal makes it sounds like if there it is going to be armony between the girls, so far that's pretty far from happening Oh, and Arina admiting that she alone is "not eough for Yuki" would have been moving if she wasn't crushing his hand with her super strength at the time
