The nice thing about LoL is that there is a decent variety of Champions to choose from. The AI is generally a pushover, but it allows for experimentation that would otherwise earn you a lot of derision in Normal games. AI games allows you to get a feel of how a Champion works, and whether or not you might like it enough to "specialise" in it.

On a side note, there is such a stark difference between Ranked games and Normal games. ^^; The people in Ranked are so much more helpful.

The Dominion rush ended way early for me, it was fun and all but I burnt out really quickly after I played a heap of it all at once.
Been trying to teach myself to play Caitlyn properly, it's weird how some of the results range, but I'm getting better at her (although it's hard to suck with her)

Only ONE NA team advanced to the next round of IEM New York? Absolutely pathetic. Even the much vaunted Team Dignitas who took first place in the IPL didn't even make it past the group stage.

What's worse is that the ONLY NA team that got past the group stage are only in this tourney because none of the asian teams didn't want to come over, so the free spot was given to CLG. Man, that's just retarded... expected more things from NA considering they dominated the last IEM.

I'll say, before the first matches on Thursday, Phreak was talking up DIG like they were the 2nd coming of Jack Bauer and then they get knocked out. BUt really, Group A was the group of death. Poor TSM, i am sure if they were in Group B they might have done better. Looking at Curse and v8, I can't understand how those two qualified at all.

Oh well, the hopes of NA all rest on CLG. Come on HotshotGG, don't fail me now. They play SK on Sat. Now CLG have played and beaten them before so I sure hope SK have learnt nothing, LOL.

US might have dominated the IEM cologne but EU dominated Dreamhack.
Well , those US > EU & EU > US are pathetic. They are equal.
Each tournament , they gave the leadership. Maybe this time EU will win. I'm rooting for them.
And it's good to see the FR team Sypher instead of crappy M with Linak.

Well, imo you can't always perform as well as possible, and while team composition is very important, it only takes one mistake to ruin the game. I think that all teams have proved their worth just by entering the tournament

They rape , then they suck repeat.

Well, looks like Euro's can gloat about being the best until our next major tournament and then whoever wins that they're gonna gloat etcetc

On another note ! I'm 5-1 ranked . I have a feeling i'm going to get 5-5 ranked >_<

CLG vs Sypher games were pretty good , really intense specially the last one Sypher did a great job even though they were in bad situation.

Fnatic vs SK = no-match really.

GG Fnatic for this tournament.

For those who still find Dominion interesting. I personally like the summoner spell "Promote" when you are a tank/off-tank (was playing Skarner at the time). Gives you a nice gold bonus when your minion kills their minions, and get a good early push on bottom lane (never did try this on top lane since that's mostly the bum-rush zone). But still a little confused on why people would use "Garrison"? Is it to help the turrets fire faster at the minions and make sure they stay on their team's control?

Either way, the next patch really doesn't change much (except for Skarner of course

) and does few fixes from Dominion from the developer's personal opinion.

I found the Garrison spell is to be used againist and for turret diving[ie risking taking turret fire to try to finish an enemy], since it heals you and makes the turret shoot faster if used defensively, while if you cast it offensive the amount of damage their turret deals is reduced dramatically, making diving in range of it for a kill much less dangerous.

Seal regen goes off the charts, and you can use it to shut down turret fire. Promote is good, but one time I used it and my super-minion just suicided into a big health pack that an enemy picked up, and I was like ".....-___-".
Wonder how the point system will change, my new personal best score is now 1947, and in a lost game, at that. After trying out most champions, I think it goes like this: assassin>off-tank>carry>support>tank. Most of my best games are with Katarina, Poppy, Eve, Urgot, etc.

Imo , if you play without draft , best team = Rammus/Akali/Jax/Talon/Poppy for offensive , defensive = Rammus/Akali/Jax/Shaco/Heimer. You can switch someone for Teemo too.

A very interesting match Konakaga and I just had. My first try in draft mode (Dominion) while I was playing Kayle. The overall health of our crystal when we won the match was 1 hp left

I was on the edge of my seat hoping things would turn out for the best. But really do hope I can play with other AS members sometime when I get more levels and get into more draft games.

I'm in eu(NE), and my level is unstable (Riot says 30)...some games I own, some I get owned hard. After some more games, I found hextech sweeper to be a hell of an item, gives HP/AP and free detection per hit, as well as a 1min cd scout, which can be used either around relic brush or directly on a seal to see if there are any jitb and other surprises around. Lightbringer's just as good for physical DPS champs...I don't play many draft matches since a lot of people dodge for some reason, but when I do, it's always Jax/Rammus/Akali/Kayle

Are there any items besides Priscilla's blessing that increase your capture mod?

Currently no, however I am guessing riot has considered others[or some mastery] to increase it that they don't want to let stack.

I'm quite confused on the build order of Jax (which I assume is also for Katarina as well?). I try to go Ninja Tabi - Guinsoo's Rageblade - Hextech Gunblade - then Rylai's Crystal Scepter. But I always get that strange feeling that I die too fast (which makes me want to get the HP belt early) or that I need some lifesteal early (which makes me want to get the Scepter early) and go out of track to get Rageblade.

Maybe I'm just playing badly as Jax for now, but I always get a bad start (start out with boots + 3 health potions) and it usually carries later game and I'm very much behind. Does anyone have some advice?

(Also yes, they are quite the number of pedobears in Riot

)
