Now all we need is a part where Kusuo visits his grandparents while each of them insists that he brings Kokomi and Mikoto with him

I find the Kokomi and Mikoto thing rather baffling.

Despite all his protests Saiki seems to like Kokomi even though he knows how much of a self centered bitch she is. So he does stuff for her without prompting.

Mikoto on the other hand,a genuinely good person who cares about other people, he treats as an annoyance.

Mikoto is just coming onto him too strongly.

New episode translated. Holy crap, Saiki's doubles

Saiki's secret has been found out by Touma, and now more of his past will be revealed. I loved how smug Saiki was every time it was revealed Touma had failed to expose him because of his countermeasures, and how quickly he panicked when he realized he screwed up.

It saddens me that there are only 2 episodes left. Assuming the rest of this Akechi arc will take up all of episode 23, I hope it's possible for the last episode to adapt the manga's ending.

I just found out that the manga has ended, would the remaining chapters be enough to make another season?

The manga ended at chapter 279, Akechi's arc ended at chapter 250 so supposed ep 23 is the finale of Akechi's arc, they can only adapt around 5 more chapters for this season's finale. There are also a few more arcs leading to the manga ending yet to be adapted, and currently there are some sequel chapters (which take place right after the manga ending) being published in Jump Giga so a 3rd season with 12 episodes might be possible.

Thanks for the info! We can only hope that they adapt the entire manga completely and make another season so that we could have a proper ending

No wonder why it's so familiar even the text behind her was almost the same lol. Nice works JC Staff for adding hilarious parody

Oh yeah, I totally forgot to mention it, but it was a nice homage to Steins;Gate. The voice actress is the same, by the way.

did the "failed" part also featured in manga as well? or was it JC Staff own idea?

I haven't read the manga yet so I don't know. Hopefully someone else can answer.

That Akechi arc was pretty crazy. It seems it's really easy to end up in a post apocalyptic world

The preview for the last episode gave me hope for another season.

And it's over. They didn't do anything with the volcano and it ended with a "see you next time", so I'd say there are good chances we'll get a third season.

They ended things on a high note, with stories showing that Teruhashi actually works hard to maintain her perfect girl image, Akechi joining the Psykickers, the cast changing radically and then turning back to normal the next day, and a little trip down memory lane.

The last chapter this season adapted was 273 (of 279), which was stretched over three shorts by adding all that stuff with Saiki meeting supporting characters from previous episodes, and even some from manga chapters that weren't animated. However, almost every chapter between 253 and 273 got skipped, with 260 (the one with the newspaper club trying to ruin Teruhashi's reputation again) being the sole exception.

There doesn't seem to be enough material for a third season, unless they go back and adapt every chapter the anime skipped, but I guess they could do one or two BD/DVD-exclusive episodes covering the manga's final arc.

That open ending.. At least they hinted at having more episodes, maybe even a new season or a new series.

Also, that last Kokomi skit was very sweet

This show was super great xD dont think I've laughed quite as much at any other show.

Sad to see it finish, though the post credit scene hints that there's more to come so perhaps an anime original continuation ?

Despite being a little repetitive now and then, this anime did not fail to bring a smile to my face week after week, season after season. It is sad to see it go, but thanks for the memories!

The final arcs of the manga still haven't been adapted yet. Though there is not much left enough for a third season (even for 12 episodes). I wonder if they will have some OVAs, or like the recent trend, a movie for the ending.
