I recently watched The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to the last one.

Saw it in theatres subbed with about 7-8 people... Didn't expect to like it as much as I did, considering I've only watched the main series looooong ago.

Where do you live that only 7-8 people attended? In Boston, this movie sold out all its showings in a matter of days.

Please…In NYC, the tickets for the premiere weekend sold out in a matter of hours. HOURS. I didn't buy a ticket since finals week was approaching and I would rather stay home and get the chance to sleep. So, I just watched the site to see how long it would take for tickets to sell out.

Luckily, there is a screening on the night of my last final this Thursday at 8 so I definitely want to go then. There was a screening for yesterday (as well as one later today) and neither of those tickets sold out before the screening, though.

No no... I actually meant I went with about 7-8 friends of mine to see the movie... Obviously the theatre was packed, and unfortunately they ran out of the Soul Gems they were giving out prior...

Back to the movie... I don't consider myself a big Madoka Magica fan... But I really did enjoy the movie... Though... It did take 70-80% of the movie to figure out what was going on... Though, that could be partly due to me sitting next to two members of our group that hadn't seen the series, and constantly asked questions... I can honestly say though, it's really some of the best work SHAFT has done~

It might have been hours here, too. I was being conservative. I checked after the tickets were gone so I don't know how long they were available. I wasn't exactly on top of this event!

Well, they did sell out pretty quickly for premier screenings in general…

Well, guess who got back from watching Madoka Rebellion a couple of hours ago.

So.... how long into the movie did it take you to realize what was going on?

When Sayaka began talking to Homura after the big Hollywood style battle….so about a third of the way through...
Then the last twenty minutes happened and it all went to hell. Then, five minutes after the last scene, I was like "Ohh…so, that's what happened" after piecing together all of the info.

I picked up a cheap copy of The Breakfast Club from work and got to relive the awesome experience. Still as likable as ever.

Just (re)watched Saving Private Ryan while ago, was one of the movie I watched years ago, which I didn't remember its title.

Indeed is one of the best war-movie I'd seen.

Just watched Gravity tonight... yeah, that was intense and somewhat horrifying. First movie I've felt vaguely motion sick from though. Very good movie overall I felt.

Watched Carrie tonight, the latest version. I enjoyed it, I know it got a bit of flack but tbh, I thought it was pretty good for a modern take on the book.

Also watched (again) This is the End earlier today as well, damn that movie is ridiculously funny. it's fun seeing the actors ham it playing themselves. Although when side by side with the american actors, Emma Watsons british accent is super thick. Poor Michael Sera (or however his name is spelt), lol.

Just watched this movie at my local cinema (but only me and another person attended it), never expect they screen some Anime movies recently. (Two more movies are this and this.)

It was quite worth to watch, hoping they will screening more Ani-movies in future.
