I thought Dengeki G's Magazine focuses on bishoujo?

Isn't My-Otome considered shoujo?

Both the MH and MO mangas/mangae/whatever were serialised in Shonen Champion, while MOSH and the MOZ manga were in Champion Red. The placement of the Ayane Kourin manga in the bishoujo-focused Dengeki G's Magazine seems out of place.

Which magazine is Arashi serialised in?

With huge amount of explosions and partial nudity?
And with even more fanservice?

Arashi is in Shounen Champion as well. The Ayane Kourin manga is drawn by someone new named Tachibana Seven. Maybe it won't be so "sexy" this time because it is drawn by a new artist?

Perhaps. The June issue of Dengeki G's Magazine marks how many chapters of the Ayane Kourin manga?

That has nothing to do with it. Girls like all that stuff too, or maybe it's just the girls I know.

The Mai Otome manga has a shounen publisher, Akita Shoten. So yes, it's definitely for the male crowd. The anime itself was also shounen. Sunrise doesn't really do shoujo titles.

It's true that some women like that stuff too (like me) but we must remember that this anyone outside of japan doesn't count as an audience.

I remember when I was in Japan last summer all the "girls love" manga (as the japanese refer it) was in the Shounen/Seinen floors of K-Books, Animate and Toranoana in Akihabara. All the japanese females usually hit the "boy's love" sections or the shoujo sections in those 8 floor anime stores.

I swear I was like the only female in the shounen/seinen sections it was pretty hilarious and the guys would just stare LOL.

Now, all we have to do is wait for more scans and hopefully someone will translate it.

Yes, but the scanning is problematic. Direct your attention to the right-hand side of the cover I posted up. See the blurring there? Dengeki G's Mag is a thick one and the method of binding makes it difficult to get at the stuff on the inner side. How do I put it? It is at least twice as thick as the artbook that compiled Hisayuki's work across the series(es) he has worked on. It is not a thin affair.

I'll return to the blurring later, but I must note that Kinokuniya does not stock back issues, as far as I know. We will be stuck with not knowing what came before this issue unless someone can find those.

Back to the blurring. It will make reading those details difficult, even though I scan at hi-res. Is there anywhere with a tutorial I can use to deal with this problem?

I'm kind of stupid when it comes to all that stuff, so I'm not sure.

Most scanlators actually carefully remove the pages from the binding itself. The best you'll be able to do is risk cracking the spine by pressing down on the back of it really hard while it scans. Or find someone with either a hand held scanner or one of those fancy book scanner type affairs.
