That means Mikoto can't go above it even if she wants, because in toaru "hard work" not = "higher power", only the curriculum can increase power (*1). If she already reached the max potential stated there, she can't advance. Even if she is a level 5, there is a huge gap between her powers and n1 or n2 powers, and due to the fact that her potential ends where she is now, she can't fill the gap in power.

That's not completely true either, it's not that hardwork is useless, it's that things would be faster with additional help.

In any case, there's a possibility that the Perimeter List is not absolute. Even more so if this was in the Author's afterwords.

sry for my english, i meant it as different amount of power. (kuroko can teleport 80m, while awaki around 500m, both lv 4)

Sometimes i wish there was esper that can convert the spent effort into stronger power. (maybe even decrease it if they was slacking and got stronger only because of AC)

My understanding was the only Esper's whose powers were divine in origin could become a Level 6. In other words: Only Accel, Kakine, and Touma.

I think its more the rare ones than some by divine origins. Scientifically, Accelerators powers are vectors, Kakine is Dark matter, but toumas is compared to the holy right or something.

Just because you don't like a character doesn't means you have to bash the character unless you are an hidden/closet worshiper of another character and Itsuwa happens to be on its way. Like Index's haters who happens to Mikoto's worshipers.

Touma preaching less sure, but is like destroying the core of the character. Oh wait, isn't supposed to have died in vol. 22. Maybe he's dead in the preaching sense

Was he not intending on coming back then? In any case, to me, this smells like one of Aleister's tricks. With Artificial Heaven, he doesn't need to wage war against magic, just kill them off. Or maybe it's unusable? But the fact that Hyouka made it all the way to Russia says otherwise, maybe... 2. Index isn't going to be playing a big role in NT? Does this mean she's isn't going to live with Touma anymore, and relocate to England then? I'm sad... 3. Mikoto getting stronger? The only way that can be is if she awakens.
