DOG DAYS' 10 - Birth of the King of Heroes!
Lots of battles going on this episode. My favorite was probably the one between Nanami and Hina. You can tell Nana Mizuki's having a lot of fun playing Nanami, and the "draw" nature of many of the matches really speaks to the strength of all sides in this "war". They even have prize packages! I think this is the first time I realized that the Chocobos also have furball (featherball?) forms, as shown when Millhi was falling - before being saved by Machine Tornader, that is. Adel continues to prove why she's my favorite character. The whole "Hero Mask" routine is exactly what I associate with heroes. Elegant titles and grandiose introductions. The heavens call out to her! The earth calls out to her! The people call out to her! All calling on her to strike back against... evil? The warrior of justice, Hero Mask! Adel's gonna make 'em see stars. Ricotta's ideal of an adult version of herself shouldn't remain solely a fantasy. The girls need some Hero Crystals too. |

Suppose this proves that even if you are the most powerful if you take it easy you can run into trouble. Kind of amazed really that Nanami got away from that strike with simply her armor getting destroyed. Considering she tossed he weapon and took that head on you'd figure full out KO there. But guess they need to play up another bout with Cinque somewhere in here so have to limit things
.Good fun all around. Almost wish there was enough screentime to show all the possible fights going on. With all the focus last week guess they couldn't afford to spoil Eclair too much more and show her showdown with Noir (which I assume she won unless Noir broke it off to go and check up on Gaul after his loss). Makes sense with the growing friendship between Milhi and Becky that they'd end up having a draw and both losing their clothes .

It's always fun watching their war games ^^
Wish our world had games instead of real wars... Nanami's fight was lol, but still fun. Sink vs Princ Gaul! That fight was pretty awesome too. The appearance of the Hero Mask was a nice bonus to the fights.

Aww what a fun fill episode this was as everyone just beating the crap out of the each and making friends. It's just so Nanoha-ish.
