Delays and having a release format so long will do that to most series. Doesn't help the OVA's didn't have the same level of "it" factor the TV series had.

So yeah, they are doing the obvious, which is to release the entire prior TV series as three movies. This is needed because they can't depend on the audience already seen the original show. They would condense the TV series the way they did with the original Gundam, then go from there.

And if they are smart, they will insert an epilogue in the end of the third film that leads to the new season.

This should be interesting. I'm planning on getting the second reprint of the Geass BD set with my tax money, so i can rewatch on a nice tv before this comes out.

Well, Well, well, it's been so long. I remember this series coming out in my very first years of college. Ah, it has been so long....

Well, Lelouch has always been one of my favorite anti-heroes so I'm excited to have him back and see what he's going to do.

Code Geass is still very popular so I can definitely see why they returned to the world. And bringing Lelouch back makes sense since the other spin off just wasn't very well received.

It's honestly been so long that I've forgotten a lot of what happened. I'll have to find some summaries to read somewhere.
