Nice. Read this a couple of months ago. Started and finished 5 volumes quickly. It's seriously some of the funniest stuff I've read in a while. The Q&A portion of each chapter are just pure genius. So I hope they can incorporate those in the anime.

Moonphase talks about how it seems they don't plan to follow the original source or how it won't just end as a simple animation adaption or something and already has a bad feeling about it...

I was wondering that is there a volume 0 of the novel? And by the way, is the girl from the volume 6 cover is who I think she is?

Bishōjo-sensei Inoue-sensei already mentioned in his blog that the “original source” is how they will make the characters that only appeared in later volumes to have an appearance in the anime. They will still follow the novel’s storyline.

Well, usual Ōnuma Shin’s stuffs.

From the enterbrain official site, there is a time line of the stories that happened thus far. It would seem that Volume 3.5 not only explains various part between volume 3 and 4, but also way back before volume 1.

3.5 is basically a "background" volume. Where you get to see each character more indepth. Rather than all the attention focused on the main character.

I'm really looking forward to the anime version of this ^^. I'm not too happy with the manga adaptation(it somehow seems to fast-paced), but love the novel very much. Can't wait for the copy of vol 6 that I ordered to arrive ^^.
