This feels like a slap in the face to novel readers. And it's likely that it was intended as such. Quote:
I'm surprised you aren't more happy about this, actually. |

Taniguchi would've been a better choice. |

I do like how they've managed to turn a simple time loop story into something that nobody saw coming though. |

I just thought a really evil scenario about DVDs:
They can just add one episode of E8 along with another normal one. That also fits the 6+2 ep. rumor for E8 ... First and last E8 together (12 remain) Six normal plus six E8! Anyway, do not take this seriously, it comes from the same sarcastic vein that speculated that the E8 repetition is an elaborate plan to prepare the audience for the Disappearance |

Getting upset never does any good, yet people are. Constantly. Because it's a human emotion.
You can't just tell people to "stop being angry". Some of the fandom actually looked forward to this. It's kinda like putting an old t-shirt in the box of a Xbox 360 and giving that to someone as christmas present. |

As for Haruhi, she's gonna come out as Dokuro-chan and beat the naked king up. @Solachinx: Or place plenty of Eights in the Nice Boat, we insert all of the best scenes in Endless Eight, Mikuru crying for 1 minute (actually is looping around), Kyon trying to stop Haruhi. If he fails, Konata will appear (the one where the 2ch was flaming somewhere in the rain for making Nagato sit for the entire episode to read a book). If he succeeds, blow him up with Mikuru beam or Kamehameha (in a maid suit Haruhi-chan episode style).

In order to allow other people a chance to express their own opinions, I am requesting that those who have already posted a dozen times or more in this thread give it a break so that other people can have a chance to talk without the noise. This thread has already gone around in circles enough times; it's becoming a flammable and cyclic topic.

Sorry, but could Yuki be trying to tell us something with the first versions bowling score? Maybe it will be 6 episodes of Endless Eight, or maybe just 5 episodes. You can never be sure with these animators. They've been know to hide stuff in plain sight, only for no one to notice for a very long time. (such as pictures of the final "Endless Eight" swimsuits during "Sometimes on the Rain".)

Endless Eight could have been a vehicle for "What If..." and the opportunity was blown as we all know it today and last weeks episode. |

Heck, why not close down the entire Haruhi subforum until they stop airing Endless Eight? It's quickly becoming "flammable and cyclic" too. |

No, seriously, I voted Painful not because the episode was "terrible"...It was good, but it was a real pain to watch the poor characters living a hell of a summer, thanks to Kadokawa and probably Kyoani. |

A lot of what he says is mirrored by a lot of other posters and those who've just got into the thread. It's his opinion, just ignore it if you don't like it. |
