The series was registered under Studio Pierrot but will be animated by ARMS (Elfen Lied, Kite, Queen's Blade: Rebellion). Yasuomi Umetsu (Kite, Galilei Donna) will direct the series.

The series will premiere next year.

I read the title, misread it as Barista, and thought this would be about using magic to prepare the finest caffeinated blends.

One second in trailer and you can easily recognize who the director is.I hope Galilei Donna turns out to be like this too.

Hmm. Interesting. The PV looked pretty good. This is definitely on my radar now. Also, Cecil's design reminds me a bit of the chick from Mezzo Forte.

Umetsu da gawd gonna bless us again! Would prefer this to be OVAs or whatever since his stuff is generally more high budget than most.. anyone know who the VA for Cecil is btw?

Ever since I saw this scene in Kite I swore to myself I'd watch anything directed by Yasuomi Umetsu so this is instantly picked up

I've already watched the PVs a few times in a row!

Looks very interesting, reminds me vaguely of Someday's Dreamers and Kiki's Delivery Service, definitely going to keep an eye out for this one.
