I just want to remind everyone that the Q&A thread is to be used to Questions and Answers only. Someone asks, someone answers, and that's it. If someone is wrong, you can correct them, but this is not a thread where it's okay to speculate or get into discussions. Q&A only. There are other threads for speculation. I deleted 23 posts.

Also, if you post *anything* that involves knowledge of things not yet shown in the anime, it must be behind properly-marked spoiler tags.

It'll probably be revealed later on in the anime:

Spoiler for How is the jail run?:

Yeah, thought so.

But then, how do you differentiate between peacemakers and PK-ers if they are both orange? Look at their guild emblem?

You don't turn orange permanently when you hurt another player. Kirito actually mentions it in the anime when he catches the Titan Hand that he wouldn't be bothered by turning orange for a few days as he solo's anyway. But the colour most likely lasts in proportion to the crime (ie amount of damage and players killed) thus the PK guild was stuck as orange.

There actually is such a system in place? Really?

It's mostly conjecture at this point. As we saw both Titan's Hand Guild members and Laughing Coffin members having their "Sims Diamond" as both Orange. The PK guilds are only called "Red Guilds" because they literally kill people.

It's not conjecture, it's common sense. That's how it worked in Ultima Online, and Kirito's comment about being able to deal with a few days of being orange corroborates it. Presumably the penalties stack together, so one attack is 2 days, two attacks is 4 days, etc.

Yeah, I guess. And if the peacemaker guild is huge, they can take turns jailing people to keep orange time at a minimum.

Eh, isn't that what the PK guild's been doing as well?

you only turn orange if you hurt green people, PKer are mostly orange so green people can hurt or kill them without turning orange

PK guilds doesn't have 1000's of members to take turns with, nor does standing guard duty nessicarily involve fighting and killing anyone every watch as that would only be needed if anyone actually tries to escape.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. How exactly are prisoners kept in jails? Do they rent one of those private rooms and turn it into prison? Sice afaik, there's no "world building" skills in SAO right?

Most likely, the place where "The Army" has set its headquarter does have a jail attached to it, where there are simple cells that can't be opened from the inside and are anti-crystal zones (the cells inside, if it wasn't clear)

It was a picture from when she first started as a street vendor, selling her swords etc.

At that time her hair colour was brown, but Asuna recommended to dye her hair pink, which she kept until now.

It represents the feeling of satisfaction she had in her early days.
