Plus, since they had already skipped Rika's meeting with Rena at the dump it would make less sense to show Rika to telling these things to Rena.

With regards to that, was it false information that someone saw rena at the quarry? In the last arc of season1?

Do you mean at the granaries? That was the police looking for her in the dump and since the Sonozaki were trying to hide her from them it's possible that the Sonozakis had someone give a false eyewitness account to distract them. Or it might have been a genuine mistake.

Yes. Keiichi is really obstructive to Oishi when he first meets him, with puts them at a bad start. Then Irie, who has a grudge against Oishi, tells Keiichi that her's bad, which also sets them against one another. And of course once Oishi starts considering him the primary suspect for Teppei's murder, he has no reason to be very kind towards Keiichi.

I see, he said i could not relate everything to the disease but is Keiichi's view reliable in Tatarigoroshi-hen? Considering the fact that he was under the syndrome

Well just finished half of season 2 (Minagoroshi-hen) at episode 12 and a light bulb went up in my head, and I think I've finally understand a large chunk of the mystery. The only remaining thing I need is motive and the real killer of the previous deaths to finally put all hte pieces in place.

Irie doesn't kill himself. The Yamainu slipped a narcotic into his drink (tea, coffee, whatever) and it killed him. They later framed it to look like the 'sleeping pill suicide'

It's about the matsuri game (I'm not sure if this is a question that you could put in here, but if it is you can delete it^^)

I have been planning to buy the Higurashi Matsuri for a while now... And I found three different versions... Higurashi Matsuri standard, Higurashi Matsuri Omochikaeri set, and higurashi Matsuri Append... What is the difference between these three?

And also. About Kakera Asobi, If I would but the Kakera Asobi, do I need the original of Matsuri first? And also, what chapters does it contain?

I finished reading the Saikoroshi-hen translation by the acefrehley. And sorry if this has been answered before if I misread or missed something.

But did Hanyuu revert back to her "spirit form" where she could only be seen by Rika? I couldn't really tell. D:

She was in her spirit form

羽入は、ふわっと踵を返すような仕草をしながら姿を消した。
Hanyuu disappeared into thin air while turning her back.


Possible explanations:

1) human-Hanyuu gave an excuse to the people, like: "I have to go home, my family is worried about me" and returned being just a spirit.

2) Hanyuu can switch between human and spirit form at will. At that time she decided she wanted to be in spirit form.

The fact she has a physical body at the time she and Rika meet with Ichirou lead me to to think that the second theory is more likely.
