Episode 3:

Not bad. I got an adventure feeling from this episode.

Nice to see Rona and Eugena as well. Rona's curiosity about Shirayuki was cute to watch. It's good that Obi managed to find them as they were lost too. Weird ending though. I smell trouble coming. Oh and that place with all the rare flowers looked fabulous.

Ep 03

Yep - it continues to be pleasant, quiet and thought provoking in small ways ... but small in the sense that matter, that are hard to see, or perhaps that we are not used to looking either at or for in the first place?

I especially enjoyed the sequence of the underground travelers finding their way finally into the greenhouse. I agree that the animation of its inside was as lovely as ever. ^^

Another mild and enjoyable episode. I guess we'll get a bit more excitement next week, for better and worse.

I thought Minase Inori (Hestia in Danmachi) did a nice job as Rona. And Hayami Saori's voice continues to be so beautiful.

mischievous rona is quite cute =)
i like those subtle blow that shirayuki inflict to obi restraint without knowing it, pour obi i feel you man

i noticed some miiiinor adjustment from the manga this week, i don't really see the point of going out of your way to change minor detail in anime adaptation. its either too insignificant to be worth changing, or too significant to be changed, so i don't really understand it.

i can understand paving the way to an anime original ending but why change minor scene detail that the original author draw otherwise...

ugh.. poor Obi and Raj..
Shirayuki needs to stop showing her sweet smile in front of these fragile gentleman... Please don't shatter their hearts

Fun episode though
Usually I feel annoyed with baka-ouji character but I actually like Raj quite a bit so I enjoy their adventure in the dungeon

I guess Shirayuki won't walk around the town this time

Another fun episode. I'm really enjoying all the Obi, since he's the real MVP of the show. I like Zen too, but his relationship with his brother seems to be detracting from Zen himself IMO, rather than adding to it.

Episode 3
So Raj is turning more human lol. After having tea in an awkward environment, Raj offers to give Shirayuki a tour of the castle. To give all those people who were following the prince because he was acting human and was with a bishoujo, they enter the underground tunnels. It was pretty obvious that they would get lost, but its was still funny nevertheless.

The younger siblings are curious asks you who is this Shirayuki lady who changed their onii-san in such a way. The prince asks his servants what else is wrong with him and he apologizes for causing Obi trouble as he had to carry the prince because he was tired.

Shirayuki reveals that she is here with Raj to change their relationship – they didn't meet in a nice way upon their first meeting and Shirayuki now wants to get on good terms with Raj and pur those things behind them. Raj thought that Shirayuki is with him so that she can get an excuse to go home.

Mihaya has escaped and he wants Kazuki so that he can get the reward. That won't happen though. Izana wants Zen and Shirayuki to grow stronger with all this and they'll come out of this successfully.

So looks like next arc will be a kidnapping one it seems, I'm really enjoying this series so I hope they don't fall on generic tropes

Zen is great and all.
But enjoying the scenes with Prince Raji the most this season because of how much growth as a person and character he's having.

Zen's just kind there being perfect.

Really enjoyed that last 2 episodes with Raji. He's one of the very rare baka ouji characters that I adore. Heck, there isn't one single character in this series that I don't love. There's just something adoring in each of the character's and their personalities that I rarely find in other series, and rarer still do I find that I like all the characters almost as equally.

I'm glad Obi was the one to accompany Shirayuki because I think he's a bit more perceptive than Matsuhide due to his background. Love his reaction when he found out that Minister was going to accompany them to the border.

One thing I like about this series is that the character's actions and thoughts aren't clearly spelled out...from Obi's view of Shirayuki and Zen...to Izana's thoughts and actions. You have to pay particular attention to details to understand their intentions. Obi's challenge to Zen is an interesting one...I can see what he was trying to do.

I notice that Shirayuki didn't mention her parents but she did state that she was taken in by her grandparents pretty early on...does that mean her parents are dead?

Indeed

I have to admit, that plate dropping scene was great thanks to Raj saying "you have dropped it" so casually without noticing others shock.

The set up with the Shirayuki hunter has been interesting but I'm kinda disappointed with the Prince Raj subplot. Maybe I misinterpreted the invitation in the previous episode but I got the impression that there was some sort of a political game going on behind that invitation and that Shirayuki was being drawn into it. The reveal that it was nothing more than a silly whim on Raj's part was underwhelming to say the least, and the end focus being on Raj's infatuation with Shirayuki was disappointing. There are already enough characters fawing over Shirayuki and I don't think we need another one. She's a great character and all but I feel like the story is getting a little too carried away right now. Moreover, the atmosphere just seems kinda off to me. The story made a big deal before on how relationships and issues can be affected so strongly by social status (in fact it's one of the major themes) but here we have a prince formally inviting a mere court herbalist to spend time with her and give her a tour around the castle like she's a noble. It wouldn't be so bad if there were characters lampshading on how weird that is but the people around Raj seem more curious than weirded out.

It's not like I'm hating it by the way but I do hope the story quickly moves on to more interesting things because I'm just not finding Raj all that compelling. The next episode looks like it will expand on Shirayuki's background which is something I've been crying out for a long time so I guess I might not have to wait long.

Episode 4:

Well I thought this week's episode was interesting.

We got more focus on Raj as Rona tries to set him up with Shirayuki. Seems like he is quite annoyed with it though lol. But in the meantime, I think he is taking his previous conversation about a 'change in relationship' with Shirayuki seriously. Also, some nice chemistry between Shirayuki and Obi this episode.

I think trouble is picking up from here. Should be interesting to see how this will develop with Zen trying to rush into the face of danger to help Shirayuki. Can't wait for next week!

I had gotten bored of Zen for being a one dimensional knight in shining armor for a while so these past few episodes with Raj have been so much entertaining to watch :x

This line at the 10 minute mark was so good to hear from Fukuyama Jun, felt like Raj channeling his inner Lelouch

Another good episode...I am enjoying seeing the slow but sure effect Shirayuki is having on Prince Raj. Yet it was also nice to finally see Zen say aloud what he has been seriously considering for some time now. We have the pirate (?) ship off the coast incoming and the folks that are after Shirayuki finally arriving on the scene as well. Next ep should be interesting. ^^

Episode 4
So Raj is really changing as he went to the library probably for the first time lol. And he went there to find out about his own country so that he can show off his knowledge to Shirayuki. Raj wants to know if he has changed, if he has made Shirayuki proud, if Shirayuki is happy with him being the prince of her homeland. And Shirayuki doesn't answer directly, but says that she will hear from the citizens speaking highly of him the next time she comes to Tanbarun. She also says that she'll tell Zen all about Raj which means that she has accepted that Raj has improved.

And his imouto continues with her efforts to put her onii-san together with Shirayuki and in the process mistakes Obi for being the ojou-san's interest. And thanks to her "tripping" Obi is starting to feel a bit too conscious about this stuff. But in the end, Zen x Shirayuki will stay.

Now things are getting pretty nekoing serious. Kazuki and his pals have found out that Shirayuki is in the Tanbarun castle for the ball and through Mihaya, Zen has also found out that they know this. The message reaches a bit late as just as Obi reads the message, Kazuki shows his face. And Zen is off to Tanbarun too.

Interesting stuff. Izana has also said that if he is forced to take action due to something happening to Zen, then Shirayuki isn't allowed to come back to the castle. This means that Zen has to handle things without risking himself too much, and Shirayuki must take care of herself as much as possible on her own to prevent anyone else, especially Zen, from getting into trouble or anything. And this will spell trouble for Raj since his guest from the neighbouring country would have been kidnapped so here's would have to take control of the situation without letting word out to the neighbours even though Izana would have already found out. So the prince of Clarines and the prince of Tanbarun would be out to save Shirayuki from these bastards. And who exactly these bastards are is another interesting question. Why are they after Shirayuki? The reason is hardly "for fun". And are those people led by the sexy woman related to Kazuki or are they here just to stir some trouble for the fun of it? They could prove to be a hindrance to Raj and might affect the rescue mission from Tanbarun's side. Things are most certainly not looking good for the red haired kawaiiness. And Zen has also openly expressed his desire to marry Shirayuki which could mean that if Shirayuki isn't allowed in the castle then he won't come back either.
Nekoing cliffhangers...

and here i was thinking in the middle of the ep that they needed to speed up a little if they wanted to cover everything on this arc, was not dissapointed by second half
zen drop the bomb to izana, and the ball is here with kazuki and his ally finding shirayuki.

but first of all ...

GJ rona ! "oops" indeed, she clearly tipped on her foot

and i just loved her face in the scene

rona's the best

i must say too that the op is growing on me. i didn't like it a first... well no i was biased because i preferred the first season opening, but having listened to it a lot is starting to make me love it more.

Please bring Rona to Clarines
I'll miss this mischievous kid a lot in the future

She managed to make Obi's heart skip a beat and make him hard to sleep

I have mixed feelings in this episode
I wanted to cheer for Raj... and I also feel bad for Obi
then I admire Shirayuki for keep focusing on returning to Zen's side *Zen.. you just got the best waifu ever.. she only thinks of you*
and I feel bad for Zen, since Izana made Shirayuki become a big burden and obstacle for him

next episode must be fun
I hope Rona would be able to meet Zen, the true contender for Shirayuki's heart

Seconded on both counts. I was so impressed with her, and with the seiyuu voicing her, that I looked up who it was -- Minase Inori, the young seiyuu who became a star as Hestia in Danmachi. Naruhodo. And her brother is played by someone who's no slouch, either -- Komatsu Mikako.

I continue to enjoy this show, but maybe not as much as the first season. Things seem to develop slowly, and maybe to be even more contrived. But Shirayuki (Hayami Saori) is just so great. And Prince Raji (Fukuyama Jun) is improving.

lol I love Rona.

I also love Obi. His voice actor is great too, so it's nice seeing more of him. I find him to be the most interesting character of the show.

Can't wait to see what happens next week.
