This thing would be way more interesting if it wasn't so straightforward and clear. I don't need them to explicitly tell me they're basically fighting emotional traumas, for example. I get it without being told.

So far I really enjoy this show. A big plus is that is an original piece, meaning no one to spoil anything.
But i was really surprised to find out that it is cloverworks dealing with this project.

I thought it was pretty clear from the scene that it was the latter. Ai not recording Koito's abuse from a pedo led to Koito killing herself.

Episode 3

I kinda like that Rika girl. She's just so straightforward with her comments and that cheerful personality.

Although she seems like a friendly person, I didn't trust her much from her introduction. In fact, this episode had this eerie vibe again despite being somewhat more lighthearted than the previous episodes.

Although the fighting wasn't very long, I find it very stylish and artistic combined with that soundtrack.

I'm still not sure on what to think of Rika. She's honest and bright minded who likes to say things straight and seems to care a lot about appearances, I did not expect her to have such a slender figure and that she used to be a a member of a singing idol group and she had a different hairstyle before. Half-unsurprisingly, she had some scars during her continuous battles in the dream world.

Yu-Yu, her fellow idolmate did die because of fan death and she half-resented over the death of Chiemi who was a fatty idolizing Rika. I'm starting to see Ai get more caring and inquisitive and is very interested in learning to know people's backstories. Animation style is a bit different in an ongoing battle against the old woman, it's very simple and colorful, almost reminiscient of a 90s era. The subtle reveal with Ai's home counselor being in love in Koito did not get me across until it happened.

I'd love to see how Shinji Nojima will explain the deal with the dream world and who the Seeno Evils are as it goes on.

Those scars on her arm were from her cutting herself, not because of any battles she'd had. Also, Yu-Yu the other idol girl mentioned committed suicide, possibly because of being stalked. Yu-Yu's death didn't have anything to do with Chiemi's. It sounds like Chiemi may have starved(I say starved, but something more like suffered from anorexia .) herself to death? Rika mentions her body looking like skin and bones at the funeral.

I sort of hoped Ai would keep the dual wield glowsticks but it seems like it was a one off. Otherwise all 4 girls are together now, so now we're cooking with fire.

Spoiler for Episode 4:

And here comes another girl to complete the quartet set: Momoe Sawaki. She's the reverse-trap with a boyish appearance, admired by every girl who encounters her at an abandoned train station while fighting Seeno Evil bosses. She's tomboy on the outside but girly on the inside, she also carries a burden that she lost her friend. The episode is pretty slow-paced, beginning with a bang but end with all four main girls eventually forming her friendship. Ai Otto continues to be literally me in anime form, except she's genkier than me. As seen previously, I was right that Neiru is the daughter of a rich man working for some zaibatsu, and I was surprised that she's quite fit for battle. I really love how Ai enjoy commenting people's appearances (because her mother was a fashion magazine editor), but I could also bet in part that she's kinda self-conscious over parts of her physique and sees her fellow peers as the models she should follow: Neiru is petite, Rika is toned and slender, and Momoe is very femme-like. It's about time they'll eventually form a great friendship from now on.

Judging by the last name, the new girl is the teacher's sister. Sans Ai being surprised at the end. Though, it may be just a bait.

While what the dummies said was clearly objectionable, it did show up their character. Those guys are not to be trusted, their word not to be accepted as plain fact. That's been pretty plain from the start, but I suspect we're going to see more as we find out what's really going on behind the scenes.

While I disagree with what was said by the dummies, I do recognize that there are differences between boys and girls in terms of suicide. You see this in a number of ways, including the fact that boys/men and girls/women tend to show preferences for different methods. That's not to say it's cut and dry, one group having a stronger preference for a method doesn't mean there aren't plenty in the other group that apply that method, and similarly even if there really are tendencies for men and women to have different triggers and motivations doesn't mean that all women have one set and all men another, there's plenty of overlap and crossovers.
