Glad Ruiko and Kaori Kanzaki made it; other results weren't that important to me . Votes:
13. Tsukasa Ayatsuji 14. Menma 15. Yusa 16. Asuha Tōhara 17. Touko Amano [please please please let her at least make it one round here ] 18. Risa Kamizaki [I am fairly sure Madoka will advance so giving her support vote ]

- Current leader in 2nd prelim votes is Yui Hirasawa (by 8 votes over Madoka)
- Akihisa Yoshii is now the first Male to reach the top 96 - Meiko Honma beat Kirino? (Both advance anyway) - Itsuwa, Yusa, Ika also advance For the next round... (19) Victorique (GoSick) (Mami will be a challenge) (20) Haruna (Zombie) (Very bad group only because I know every character in the group) (21) Merry Nightmare (YumeKui Merry) (Either both Mikoto and Kuroko advance or one gets all the support leaving the other in danger of being sniped. Hoping I can get both Mikoto and Merry in since both are in my top 5) (22) Nakagawa Kanon (Kaminomi) (Hideyoshi should be able to reach the top 96..... I think) (23) Haqua (Kaminomi) (24) Last Order (Index) (I think Shouko will make it as well, but Hitomi could be a wildcard)

I can't comprehend this year's K-Saimoe with the guys mixed in. Seeing from the results, not many people can. What criteria would you even use to judge a match like Yui vs Lelouch or something to that effect? How broad a definition of moe does one need for this tournament to make sense?
We'll probably get rid or all the guys in a round or two, and the organizers will be rubbing their hands in satisfaction that they lowered fangirl participation by a percent or two. As if that was worth compromising the integrity of the tournament. Don't mind me. I probably just have too much time if I care.

I am a bit ticked off that there is a male in a female oriented tournament. The chances were there, considering that half of group 17 were male and from decent series, but still, it does not feel right. Not that I am angry or complaining, just a bit confused as to what is going to happen next. The guys might go away in about another round or so, but still.
19. Victorique de Blois 20. Evangeline AK. McDowell 21. Merry Nightmare 22. Kanon Nakagawa 23. Haqua du Lot Herminium 24. Sae Nakata |

There's guys and girls in one tourney? I thought that girls were Summer-Fall, and guys were Winter-Spring, something like that?
I'll play on both sides of the train tracks, but still strikes me as odd. And kinda unfair; wouldn't any bishie get slaughtered in a game with mostly guy players? Or are there actually a lot of girl players, that'd be awesome to know haha |

They changed it to moe shows in summer-fall and I suppose manly show in the winter-spring. I guess the reasoning is that the fangirls don't generally vote for the guys ifrom the moe shows during the Males section of Best Moe and the guys don't generally vote for the badass girls ifrom the manly shows in the female part of Best Moe, but if given the option some of the opposite might be true and give the badass girls time to compete with the badass guys while also allowing the moe men and traps to compete in the moe contest.
