I think this thread would be very helpful (to old and especially to new members). Naruto sub-forum has the largest amount of threads. From which many interesting/important threads are buried and lost. Many members are afraid of bringing old threads back to life do the negative feedback they get. New members want even know large amount of threads that they may find interesting. That's why I think we need something like in 'General Chat forum'.

I understand that in General Chat this was done because there were many 'sticky' threads. But this would work just as well in Naruto sub-forum. A thread where the most important threads will be listed. This way many members who have problem with using search function will find very useful. Also many members don't even know for some threads, so this would be useful even for them.
Of course the weekly manga/episode threads will not be included in this (members can always use 'tags' to find this threads). The thread will of course be 'locked' and only Admin/Mods will be able to update this thread. Also members can suggest some threads they find important enough (which they can post in 'Naruto Request for New Threads') and mods can add them. This way mods will not be forced to do all the job by them self, members can help in this way.

Positive things for creating this thread:

Members will not be afraid of revving old threads.

Members who have problems with search function will appreciate this.

Each set of threads will be marked as anime only, manga tags, so this should help with 'No spoiler policy'.

Many interesting old threads will be useful again.

Members will not make mistake(s) requesting 'new threads' that already exist. Search function sometime fails them so new request(s) are still made. Especially by new members who don't browse forum, they just post there request(s) (just like I did when I came here ). This way they will have the list of most important/interesting threads and mods will not be bothered to much.

If a member makes a request for new thread(s) (and that thread is already created), then you (mods) most of the time will not have to search to find it. You can just check this list and if the thread is there it's good then.

Great index! It's one of the things myself and Hunter thought about doing many a time, but put it off in favor of the more imminent problem such as spoilers and not to mention Hunter is such a lazy fellow unlike my prominent self.... I think it's a great idea for a thread.

Some time ago I requested the thread about the Sage of Six Paths, but it was not accepted. But I think now that the Anime have reached this point, I decided to give this thread another go.

It's been said that the sage of the six paths was the first ninja to create modern ninjutsu (what ninja uses today in present). It is unknown how he came to this world. Was he born like all humans or is he a product of some demonic intervention (is he half human and half demon). Considering his vast powers I would place my bet on him being half demon or at least have some connection with the juubi (meaning perhaps one of his parents was demon). His powers are able to control bijuu's now maybe he got his bloodline after sealing the juubi into himself, but I remember a information about him meeting the juubi after he started his traveling to spread ninjutsu around the world.

He has the rinnegan the most powerful ocular bloodline that exist.

It seams he got the fully developed rinnegan (both the rinnegan and sharingan) after sealing the juubi into himself) (look closely and if I am nor mistaken in this pic he has both rinnegan and sharingan)

He had or maybe even invented the greatest hax power in Naruto world called izanagi. He was literally able to create reality into an illusion and illusion into a reality. He was also able to create thing out of nothing and give them life. This is how he created the nine bijuu's using juubi's chakra.
My theory is that he also left some part of himself within bijuu's when he crated them. Why else would Naruto received his psychical powers when he absorbed the nine tails chakra. He had to sons, it would seam that Naruto is the decanted of the second son (ether by blood or some other way). But it is confirmed that Sasuke and Madara are the decedents of the first son.

One of his powers it seams to be the sealing techniques, it is believed that he created the very first sealing jutsu.

He seams to have some connection with the Uzumaki clan, who were very skilled sealing masters.

It's been proved that Uzumaki's are able to acquire his power (rinnegan eyes), which leads to believe that he had some connection to the Uzumaki's. It is maybe even possible that he was Uzumaki himself (we never hears his name or last name, when Madara refers to him he calls him 'sage of six paths').

There are currently four people who are in possession of his power or some of it...
Madara, Nagato, Danzou, Naruto, Sasuke (he is optional, we don't know if by having EMS you can gain some of sage powers, that's why I didn't numbered him among this four). But to use his power to max level it seams you need power from both sons (Senju and Uchiha), only then will they be capable of using Izanagi without any consequences. Sage was the only who was able so far to use this power without giving anything in return (Danzou had to sacrifice one of his eyes every time he used this. And if I remember he also had the time limit before he can use it again. Also Danzou only had the power to create reality into an illusion).
In reality his powers were so great that on his death bad he was able to extract the juubi from himself and separate it into the nine parts. He did this to save the world, but this also confuses me as to what he thought that by separating one monster into nine would save the world. Wouldn't nine beings destroy world faster then one?

His psychical form was what made me believe that he is in fact half demon or maybe half of something else like gods, angels etc. Why else would he have horns on his head? While Naruto now has horns as well leads me to believe that it was not helmet (for the lack of better word) that he had but those horns were the part of his body.
Also there is about his necklace that to showed on Naruto's new form and I now that necklace was not part of his body. This also may be true about horns not being part of his body, but maybe I am wrong.

Originally this thread was meant for both Sage and Juubi, but because by putting Juubi in the title I would be breaking 'No spoiler rules', I decided to make things this way.

Please don't use one lines / one sentence while posting. Otherwise this thread will be became pointless and probably closed.

I was thinking about starting such a thread earlier today when I first saw the newest episode. There are still a few more revelations cocnerning the Rikudou-Sennin and the Rinnegan, but the recent anime episode cleared one of the biggest spoilers (though some of the discussion must still be placed under spoiler tags), so I will start the new thread shortly.

Spoiler for OP: [Manga] Kishimoto's interview at Jump Festa 2010 Kishimoto answered a few questions during Naruto's panel at the Jump Festa. Unlike in previous years, the session was short and Kishimoto didn't reveal much. Translation was done by takL at NF. - Naruto's voice actor teased Kishi about his "Year of Kakash" comment at last year's Jump Festa. - Kishi apologized and said Kakashi would play a much bigger role in 2011. - Shikamaru and Choji(!) will play important and heroic parts in the war. (I guess the Fourth Division will get major spotlight.) - Nothing on Naruto, Sasuke, or Sakura. Naruto's voice actor didn't even ask about him. - Kishi explained the Kakashi part. He planned big things for him this year, but they will pass over to 2011. - He has been planning a lot for the last year. (I guess he means the war.) - Weird sequence. Naruto's voice actor says something about dreams coming true and Kishi that will be true with Choji. (Maybe there will be a better translation for this. Choji had dreams?) I am sure the other characters will do something, since they are doing things now, but no one asked about them. Kishi seemed more interested in talking about Kakashi and Shikamaru. They most love their laid-back geniuses over there. And if Kishi can make fans care about Choji, than I am declaring him a better mangaka than Oda.

Spoiler: I'm a bit confused as to whether Danzou was officially named the Sixth Hokage or if he was only an interim Hokage during Tsunade's incapacitation. I mean, it would seem that he should have been given he was essential in implementing the Fourth Great Ninja War, but since his tenure was completely short given what happened to him, not to mention what Kakashi had actually said when Tsunade regained consciousness ("I was just five minutes away from becoming the Sixth Hokage", which could be a translation error from the particular manga scan I read it from), I have absolutely no idea how this can be interpreted.

Spoiler for OP: [manga] Naruto Shippuden Movie 5 Naruto Shippūden 5: Blood Prison (劇場版 NARUTO-ナルト- ブラッド・プリズン, Gekijōban Naruto: Buraddo Purizun) is the eighth overall Naruto film and fifth Naruto: Shippuden film which is to be released on July 30, 2011. The movie is written by Akira Higashiyama who also wrote The Gutsy Ninja. It is directed by Masahiko Murata. The trailer tells us that Naruto is being imprisoned for attempting to assassinate the Raikage and for killing jonin from Iwa and Kiri. The prison is named Hozukijou aka Blood Prison. It is run by a man named Mui who uses a powerful imprisonment jutsu to seal away a prisoner's power. Naruto's life is said to be in great danger in this place.
