Not bad, the dialogue dynamics captured what I had expected this episode ranging from the talk about love to gangs (Dollars/Blue Squares)

Nice buildup overall for the upcoming episodes.
And Izaya still up to his mischievous deed as usual. I look forward to seeing Vorona in action soon with that PV

I am assuming that the one telling about Seiji and Mikado to stop messing around Dollars and meet with her is either Nami and Mika.

Probably thinking the whole head thing was Izaya's doing.

Aozaki on the other hand through Izumii offered something to Mikado. Akabayashi is concerned about it.

While Rokujo is giving Kida advise Saki and Anri are having a girl to girl talk.

Meanwhile Izaya is wondering how to get rid of the "Monsters" who would get in the way of his Human fun.

Akabayashi and Anri sensing the brawl Kasane and Celty are having.

Hey guys why does Aoba hate his brother so much? His hatred is so weird to see. I mean, I thought that Ran was the one getting hurt by Aoba all the time, but he hates him so much as if Ran did something real bad to him in the first place.

Also, what does Aoba do that we don't see him doing in the anime to be so freaking scared by Mikado's insight into things? I don't care if it's a spoiler, just tell me what he's planning or doing in the shadows. I feel like the anime is too short to dwell on these points, and it leaves me confused.

Otherwise, I'm happy with the episode. For once, it was exclusively about stuff I find interesting (gangs, mafia, nefarious plans) rather than stupid (Saikas, Celty's head, manga obsessed speeches, etc).

this episode was pretty good i didnt want it to end...so far this season has been really good...i dunno if i should save the eps and binge watch or just wacth it every week...

It has been established Ran is an asshole. He beats up his little brother and is a rapist abducting girls.

He isn't really badass as he likes to think himself. He is scared of the police and Yakuza.

The reason why he respects and perhaps fears Mikado is that he is disturbingly different. Perhaps as warped as Izaya.

He beat Aoba? Wow for the first time I feel sorry for him.

Where was it established, though, the novels? Can you tell me where to read about the relationship between Aoba and Ran, as well as Aoba and Izaya? (I read a few volumes that I found online, but the rest seem to be untranslated or incomplete, maybe I'm missing something...)

I am presently trying to understand Aoba's character for my fanfiction that includes him (in a pairing with Mikado, heh), and it's kinda difficult because the damn anime doesn't focus enough on him! At this point I don't even understand what he's trying to pull with the Dollars behind Mikado's back. This is just lame. And I'm afraid even once the anime is over, they won't properly explain his relationship with Ran & Izaya or his motivations, they just choose to focus on different characters

So she is putting a measure of responsibility on one who Seigi considers a friend.

Okay I'm confused. Who is using Setton's account? Celty is otherwise occupied. Why are they blaming Mikado for this mess? He has nothing to do with it.

Izaya seems to be content just watching from the sidelines for now, so I doubt it's him (this time). So who?

Wait thinking about what other people said about Namie, and what that user said about Seiji, suddenly made everything click.


Regardless, this episode gave me so many goosebumps I had to come here and talk about it. Even though I told myself I wouldn't come here lol.

I know Namie isn't exactly all there, but it makes no sense for her to blame Mikado.

It was really weird. I mean the last time we hear her mention him is when Izaya (correctly) guessed she leaked info about Mikado being the Dollars founder, just to make him a target due to her grudge.
