Stardust

An excellent movie, IMHO, that derived from a book...as many fantasy movies do

Official movie site: http://www.stardustmovie.com/

Book: http://www.amazon.com/Stardust-Neil-...7925126&sr=1-1

Reminded me or 'The Princess Bride' with its humor and fantastical adventure.

Other opinions?

I've seen the movie and I like it. Well, I'm a sucker for fantasy movies so I watched this one. It was good.

The movie was entertaining, even though it was thoroughly predictable. I especially liked the seven princes trying to become king, and De Niro as Captain Shakespeare was a lot of fun.

No, no, it's nothing like Narnia, that was TERRIBLE. They ruined any hopes of a sequel with the movie they made, I'm sure C.S. Lewis was rolling over in his grave. When I compared it to Princess Bride, I was more comparing the non-sensical comedy about it (yes, the hilarious 7 princes as audience to pretty much the entire story).

Narnia was just complete trash.
