Ahh finally, an episode that focuses on Chiya. She sure worries about silliest things. It’s not often that we get to see her depress and I know it’s is supposed to appear creepy, but instead, I find them amusing.
We haven't gotten an episode that focuses on Maya as well. Personally, I sure hope those three do end up in the same high school, whichever it is. The theme this time is about separation anxiety. In fact, the one who should be worrying the most about this is Syaro when Rize finally graduates from high school, but it seem the author is saving all that for year three. When compare to Kinmoza where there were quite a few changes once the main casts enter second year, here it seems not much has changed on the surface excluding character developments of course. So we are pasted half way through season 2. If only they animate Aoyama chapters. I wish they could’ve done it earlier, but apparently they must have planned on merging two chapters that focuses on her into one episode resulting in it being pushed back this late into the season. We should get them soon. They can’t possibly end this season without that. Quote:
On to the topic of stalking. I'm surprised that even Chino's dad is into it too. I'm starting to wonder if he ever get to sleep at all. I don't recall ever seeing him wearing anything else besides his bartender suit. He doesn't even look sleepy during the day. Is he a cyborg? Wide Mass Guessing: Chino's mother is actually a mad scientist, Chino is her clone, Takahiro is a cyborg programmed to be Chino's father figure, and Tippy is the result of a body swapping experiment. |

I thought grandpa being trapped inside Tippy's body was the result of Cocoa's unexpectedly high mana level pouring out when she cast that spell back in season one!

That was a lovely bunnisode. I still can't get enough Chimame, especially when we get to see one of them interact one on one with one of the older girls. Rize and Maya got along beautifully. Then again, I doubt it's impossible for any character in this series to not get along with somebody else.
The circle of stalking was fun. I always enjoy this kind of antics. Not sure who I'd say were the better stalkers, but I know who the worst were As for the worries brought up in this episode, I'd say this cast is completely safe. Most of them go to different schools already, yet it doesn't stop them from seeing each other all the time. Of course, it would indeed be better if Chimame weren't separated.

Pretty sure Meg will end up in Rize's school while the other two go to Cocoa's, but 10,000 to 1 says they all work at Rabbit House and don't miss it in the least due to the hours they spend together after school. And, judging by how much they grew in the past year, they'll still be short, flat, adorable kids that everyone loves. Also liked how the show slipped into Maya's drama Meg and Chino's finally getting to bond one-on-one rather than never seeing each other without someone else with them. Give me two more seasons of this, with the third focusing more on ChiMaMe running the shop as the older girls have to spend more time studying at a nearby college. They'll still show up at least once or twice per episode, but the little beans run the shop and keep the uniforms (which I only just realized seem to magically change size to fit whoever happens to be wearing them).

There is already fan material based on Chino being a mahou shoujo character. If I remember correctly it started out as an April Fool's joke about a spin-off anime that actually gained traction? (I forget at the moment.) I have seen fan art and vaguely remember hearing of an image album....

Agh! I've totally lost the pattern on Janken. Another loss.
I was entirely certain the whole time that the Chiya/Cocoa "fight" was a misunderstanding caused by conflicting patterns of airheadedness. It just isn't in the two of them to do otherwise. But as a result I got to see lots of lovely Syaro being lovely, so I call it a win. The Maya segment was silly fun. Maya's the most fun-loving member of the Chimame-tai, so having some focus on her is bound to be enjoyable. I can also understand her "what happens if we split up" concerns, probably better than she can. After all, she hangs out with a whole plethora of people from different schools, age groups, occupations, and walks of life on a regular basis. In my case I'm a terrible communicator, so even if I try to stay in touch with folks after I leave somewhere, it inevitably falls silent unless they go out of their way to stay in touch with me. As a result, any time I leave someplace where I've gotten to know people, I leave the people as well. Be happy, Maya! I am quite certain, with that group, that is one problem you will never have. Your friends will remain your friends and will stay in touch and hang out with you no matter what happens. Quote:

Someone changed drunken Chino's "Onee-chan" to "Onii-chan". Enjoy.

so who else think in that circle of stalker-ception that Chino's dad is stalked by Rize's dad? instead of his body guards or look after Rize for that matter for some reason,
you know its sort of amazing that a high profile author like Aoyama didn't into trouble because someone called the cops for her Syaro stalking antics, being labeled a creep......... |

It looks like the Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu Ka?? OST will be releasing on December 25 this year, as it had with the previous OST, as well. It'll be a nice Christmas gift, and the album art is linked below (no word of the tracklist yet, though)

No. "保登" in Kanji translates to "always rising", which in turn could refer to the fact that the family's bread is always being made, or metaphorically, always reaching new heights. The pun is merely a bonus.

Purely coincidence, and were chosen because their parents noted this, nothing more. Has there been any instance of Mocha or Cocoa's family names being spoken out loud in GochiUsa?
