Well, that was certainly... interesting. Fram's a half-decent pilot, and Not!Hiling Care is in what looks like a prototype MS. I actually lost count of the number of death flags Fram raised in this episode (Yurin 2.0 for Zeheart, anyone?), and Zeheart and Asemu certainly look happy to see each other. Now that we've finally gotten to the fight I've been wanting to see since 3rd Gen started, I can take a good guess as to how Zeheart and Asemu's fight is going to go:

And the only death flag she was missing was Pineapple Salad. Still, it was nice to see her get some good treatment in this episode. A good coming out for her. If Asemu and Zeahart's fight doesn't go like that, I'll eat my hat.

The writing of this show hurts.
Asemu you know that Zeheart has been a Ezelcant fanboy since you were teens. You grew up, he didn't one bit. When the idiot says no one can't understand his boss you should have asked for the Gundam's data recording to slap Zeheart and the Vegans with it that they are being played. Kio your hesitance can get you killed. Beat the crap out of the enemy first then talk. Oh minor note you just condemned some Vegan pilots to a slow death. Then again you don't think things through like the AGE device. |

Fram did not die yet. Rather surprising, given the episode title.
Loved the battle so close to the moon's surface. I can't remember the last time a protagonist's last Gundam fought on the surface like that instead of constantly flying in open space. Kio's rifle conveniently runs out of energy. Seems like the AGE Builder has not perfected direct transmission from the reactor to the hand plug yet. Were the writers implying that Kio would have slaughtered Fawnfarsia with it? And Kio's C-Funnels were off-stage for part of the battle. AGE-FX's C-Funnel beam barrier is hax. If Kio was more bloodthirsty, he could use that thing to ram enemies to death. It's too bad the AGE-3 apparently did not have a voice recorder, because Ezelcant's true plans would have been a propaganda gold mine for the Earth Federation. I hope Fram's premonition was wrong and Zeheart doesn't die, because he's the only Vagan who's actually leadership material. Preview: Spoiler:

As far as the episode goes...
1. I'm really, really surprised that they didn't kill Fram off this episode. Of course, with the amount of death flags she's carrying, she's not going to last long. 2. On side note, I'm almost 100% sure that if they kill off Fram, it'll be the standard way of "jumping in front of another MS just to save the other person". Especially since Fram is predicting Zeheart getting killed. 3. The writer are getting lazy for episode title? Beautiful Fram this episode, Gerard Spriggan (However you spell it) the next... 4. Captain Ash and Zeheart meets again in battlefield. Either Zeheart defects or he'll get killed by Asemu. 5. Speaking of that fight, adding on point #2, probability of Asemu killing Fram -> 100% (It'll not be Kio since he don't kill anyone. No sight of Full Armor Gundam NT-1 Alex Gundam AGE-1 next episode = Doubt it'll be Flit. Of course, it can always be Ezelcant or Spriggan...)

somehow the way fram fights gives out the impression that she belongs in the "kitchen".
but hey, she can put up a fight considering all these deathflags. whats getting more weird is that they're introducing a character (gerard spriggan) pretty late into the series. I wonder if she has any connections with the main casts. |

I think Gundam Age seriously has low budget issues.
Flashback all the way throughout the episode, it feels like Destiny all over again. The battle animation are also being skipped ( we only see two dots flying for some of Kio vs Fram fight). I am not complaining and saying that this is bad, in fact I feel sad since looks like Gundam Age is in serious predicament right now. Most likely, they don't make big/any profit till now (not surprising) and this may affect how the story will be told for the remaining episodes. |

I'm guessing Girard will confront Albis too. The Clanche Custom scenes were great and deserves more time.
