Maybe they had teamed up to take down Esdeath before that, and Tatsumi was forced to use his Teigu for the 5th time.

I did like the TL note on the page, explaining "AgK" being poignantly used there by Tatsumi.

Personally I'm hoping the different elements still present in the manga will be interesting enough down the road, even if it will be similar to what the anime has shown. Leone mentioning Chelsea as a possible motive for Tatsumi to act was a real surprise for me. Small but significant since it tied the past events into the current story that we know are important to the characters themselves.

If Tatsumi and Akame do end up fighting I'm betting on Akame to win if only one of them comes out alive. It would be a nice nod to the title of the series as the translator explained.

Tyrant's showed its insane adaptive ability which could adapt to even time stop, so it's not so farfetched to think it can adapt to Murasame's curse as well. In the series, Akame was the hunted one in the end, so maybe it's Tatsumi's turn this time.

Because the chapter heavily foreshadowed so?

Why wouldn't she? The manga's named after her, after all.

I'm really not sure how the author plans to handle Najenda and Leone, though. I think the latter has escaped one too many death flags, and I doubt she'd come out of this alive (I absolutely lol'd at the manner of her death in the anime ).

This is a surprise, I never thought that Seryuu was older than him. I always thought she was younger than that.
