Glasses often come with all kinds of surface treatments.
Like anti-glare, scratch resistant and so on. The point where it reads 'forms a chemical bond with glass' makes this seem like a bad idea to put on glasses. A chemical like that will most likely mess up the existing surface. |

Why are you quoting me? I'm not the one asking the question. And you're not answering his question. He wants to put this chemical on existing glasses. Not buying new ones. Many quality sports wear already prevent just about everything that regular glasses have problems with.

The solution has a time limit and will wear off, and you need to spend time and money to reapply. Cristal glasses don't......and unless you are the type that sit in front of the computer all day long, you probably won't need to change glasses for 3-5 years. I haven't change my frames for 4 years until recently, where I was demanded to wear a less "nerd" pair. If I had Cristal lenses, I wouldn't have to change the whole thing for 4 years in total.

I don't wear glasses but I've lost/broke a lot of sunglasses. My biggest problem is sturdiness of the lens. If only Nokia had their own brand of sunglasses. By best pair asploded when I was cycling and a pebble flew at my eye. It did save me from losing an eye but the sunglasses died I need a pair of sunglasses that will protect me from flying car tires and wild deer antlers (I've collided with both in my cycling experience). |

Heh.. yesterday at my parent's I randomly picked up an old pair of sunglasses that that belonged to my grandpa.
I put them on for fun and was like 'lol 70's style'. My father told me 'those kind of old glasses are becoming modern again'. Yeh... sure. He always said that, when I was a kid and had to 'use up' some old clothes. Inspecting the glasses more closely... What's this? "Ray Ban"... huh? Fired up Google: Ray-Ban Ultra Aviator Gold 439€ Grandpa was a playboy. I wouldn't rub that stuff on it btw |

2. Upload it to the internet (I use http://imgur.com/ ), 3. Now copy/paste link into the thread (in advanced options for replying highlight link and push the icon that says "insert image" so it appears as an image and not as a link) 4. Profit! |

Yesterday, i was at the Japan Day in Dusseldorf. Unexpeted, there were a lot more cosplayers, than i thought. Many of them had a sign around their neck with the writing "Free Hugs". Well, i understand so far, that you can simply hug them all(sounds fishy, doesnt it). I remember seeing a simillar situation a few years ago in New York. I wonder, if this has any sign. To show love, people care about eachother or whatsoever or this just for fun?
I wonder about that... (Btw... From around a couple of thousand cosplayers i have seen, there were only 2 The World God only knows cosplayers around... Sad...)

I just saw a free japanese doujin that is mildly funny, the thought of posting a link in this forum crosses my mind, to be sure I read the FAQ, so I need to ask exactly what "pornographic" is in this forum? Usually I understand anything with intercourse is deemed pornographic material, there is no intercourse in this doujin, but the brother (from what I can understand with my basic japanese) of the female protagonist looks sort like like an alien from the famous movie franchise, small, large ... do I have to say it out loud?

@Solarfighter: Just for fun... human touch is generally for the win with consenting parties. It seems to have descended out of "glomping", another convention tradition.
