Is the difference between Tsukihime and Tsukihime Plus-Disc minor like Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Stay Night Realta Nua with the only difference being removal of H scenes and new CG scenes or does it have something like extra character routes?

Plus-disc is just a few short side stories and extras, it's not a visual novel in itself.

Actually, there's a Tsukihime remake coming out with a Sacchin route.

And supposedly it has upgraded art and the removal of h-scenes.

Finally got around to trying out this game and I completed almost every arc. Would just like to say that this game is amazing, and the anime is nothing compared to it. I am looking foward to the remake so I can go emo all over again (Dang, why does this game have to have so many damn sad endings!).

Does anyone know when the remake is supposed to release?

I think they're focusing on putting out Mahou Tsukai no Yoru at the moment anyway.

Also Reckoner! The sequel called Kagetsu Tohya also has an english translation.
Is that worth buying by the way? I haven't tried that out so far, but I really liked the original game. I've heard KT is a bit disconnected with all the extra stories and changing the perspectives often. Is that true?

The main Kagetsu Tohya story is very surreal. The way it works is that there's no good or bad ends, the story just ends if you die and you have to keep playing through it until you uncover the truth behind everything thats been going on. The real reason to play Kagetsu Tohya is to unlock all the side stories which are done from different peoples' points of view and expand some of the backstories that weren't touched upon in Tsukihime. It goes into Shiki's relationship with SHIKI, how Roa met Arcueid and the Crimson Moon. Stuff like that. Well, I guess you'd play it because it has Nanaya as well but he doesn't really do much.

I finally finished! I've been saving what I had to say (started after the Near Side) so...

First off... Shiki should buy some damn Advil!

Spoiler for Near Side:

Nrvsqr was one bad ass bad guy man. Pulling any animal out of his coat! That must have scared those girls getting the train.

Spoiler for Arc:

Arc's was fun. Roa being the other Shiki was great too. But boy is she a lot of fun. Stupid true ending but the good was well, good.

Spoiler for Ciel:

Wow... what a great route. Never expected her to be related to Roa like that. I think her good ending is my favorite out of the whole game.

That girl who replaced Nrvsqr... what a waste of my time. I was expecting her to be some extension of Akiha or something. It felt like total filler. I also found it disappointing how the blood she gave Shiki did not come up ever again. I expected it to give him extra strength since he didn't have any other help this time around (Arc or Ciel). One thing I did not like was how there was no real cause for Roa not surfacing. I like when you the player make a choice that changes the outcomes. One question is why didn't Shiki change from Satsuki giving him her blood??

Akiha, number two tsundere after Rin. And she is so sweet too with how she treats and regards Shiki. I thoroughly enjoyed her going to school with him. Inui cracked me up with that too. I am glad she kept her old school uniform as well... it definitely suits her more. But all of her expressions and mannerisms, if this was voiced I think I would have died. The final fight was tricky. Who would have thought listening to the bad guy longer would have been the right choice. Usually that's a trap or something.

Both of her endings were aggravating. One was a normal ending, so that's a default bad. But her true was bad too! If he is alive somewhere, why isn't he with her? I took it as he was dead. I saw no hints of him being saved by Ciel or anything. Sure, there was no body, but he could have disintegrated or something since he was not a normal human. Maybe. Agh! Akiha deserved a happy ending with her Nii-san!!

Now then, a hell of a lot was revealed in this route. I didn't expect the twists with Hisui and Kohaku either. It had me guessing until the end too. There was evidence to support Hisui being in the window and Kohaku being there for quite some time. And for Kohaku to be the mastermind behind everything - didn't see that coming either. I didn't rage as much as I thought I would either. I guess since I knew it was coming and since Makihisa didn't do that to her because he was evil but out of necessity. I sure as hell don't forgive him for it though... an eight-year old girl. He went straight hell. Not only for that, but for Killing the Nanaya's too. But Hisui is just so cute. All of her blushing was just hhnnggghh. Also funny how she kept her maid cap thing on during the sex scene, haha.

True End: Why... why did they have to kill Akiha!? Why!? Not only were here endings bad but she gets killed here! What the hell, Nasu!? It's like he made her so awesome just so he could take her away and laugh at us.

That ending was surprising, I didn't think Kohaku would recover so quickly, but it is nice to see her happy.

There's a sequel 'fun disc' similar to Hollow Ataraxia for FSN; it's called Kagetsu Tohya. There's a translation floating somewhere on the internet, and it's really quite funny, so it's worth looking up.

Though it bears mentioning the H-scenes for this one are rather... um... lolicon. So if you have a moral problem with that, I think the translation patch lets you take them out, but it's been awhile since I played.

Melty Blood is pretty fun and has story and 5(?) paths I believe.
