well, you'll have to read onward to understand why he is posing as a girl. i like the anime much better...probably because i saw it first. i haven't even read all the manga. for some odd reason, before i read the manga, or even knew it had a manga, i was imagining a different storyline for it involving a boy...and when i read the ending of the manga, the storyline in my head was the same as the mangas..who wouldv' thought? hah.

I really can't say which I like more (Anime or Manga). In general I consider them two complete series and try not to consider them similar. They were just really different. But I will give the manga credit for the differences in the characters (especially Nagi and Sergay).

Mai Otome Arashi is basically the direct sequel to the Mai Otome Manga. It picks up after the rebuilding of Garderobe but unfortunately Kruger didn't pay the bills in time so Arashi (Nagi's younger 'brother') bought out Garderobe's debt and thus now owns Garderobe and by extension all of it's students and staff (kind of). Oh, and he's engaged himself to Mashiro.

It's not that she forgot, the bills came in. Natsuki said "Meh. We'll get money from the other countries so let's relax and enjoy our new school a little bit before we take care of the bills." You know, like putting off your taxes till the last moment kind of thing.
It's a fairly entertaining read. Enka Nina FTW. |

Nah. Something bigger is under foot. Arashi's trying to fill Nagi's dream of dominating the world. Besides, IIRC, the Otome manga started off pretty slow too and it ended up being a vastly superior product to the anime so who knows.
Though Chapter 3 introduces the Mashiro Kick, which by itself is pure awesome. For a second, I thought I was reading Seikon no Qwesar. XD |

I believe that Seikon no Qwesar is indeed the official romanization. I'll have to double check my copy of the takubon but mostly certain that it's the right one.
There are 8 chapters, the 9th should be out in a week or so as it's a monthly publication. Currently only chapter 1 is scanlated as far as I can tell and that's done by Plum City: http://www.plumcity.org |

WarpObscura, I stand corrected then.
Unfortunately, I still haven't found anything. Of course, my command of Japanese is extremely limited. If someone could find out which magazine Ayane Kourin supposed to be published in (if it is published at all), I could try to find it. |
