Oops lol. For me, the context made it sound like you were criticizing the quality more than I now think you actually were. To me, saying something is flawed makes it sound worse than saying that it isn't perfect.

Either way, I haven't seen Eureka Seven so this could also be part of the reason for why I didnt understand the contextual meaning behind what you were trying to say.

Anyway I really do hope that this anime does well. After all, this series does have a lot of potential. I'm not too sure how I feel about the first key animation...

It seems fine to me. I think it's a very good staff - not BONES absolute best, but their near-best is better than most studio's aces.

Who's cast as Deku is very important, I think. I would love it to be a young actor like Honjou Yuutarou - my guess is it'll be Murase Ayumu. He'd be fine, but a bit too on-the-nose...

Hiro in Big Hero 6? Well, he might work, I guess. Although I actually expect Deku to be voiced by female.

I think of him much more as Ao in E7 Astral Ocean.

Actually, if they keep Yamashita Daiki (Onoda from Yowapeda) I think that'd be an excellent pick. But it seems you rarely see actors from vcomics and drama CDs carry over to anime these days.

^ If E7 is the comparison then I'm looking forward to this, as that was one of those shows that I enjoyed with no idea why.
I've always loved the way Bones animates action scenes, so fluid and detailed. At least with them, you can expect it to be pretty.

My guess would either be Ayumu Murase or Daiki Yamashita (the latter voiced the character in the vomic)...

I hope that All Might will be voiced by Unshou Ishizuka (old Joseph) and Ochako by Haruka Terui (Yuuki Yuuna, Kobeni).

I would be thrilled with Unshou or with Ootsuka Akio - either would be spot-on.

Quite happy with Daiki Yamashita - he's good, and good casting. Kenta Miyake is fine too. Not my absolute top tier choice (see above), but solid.

I actually had Onoda's voice in my head for Deku when I first started reading the manga, so the casting choice is amusing me.

Hm... so they decided to use Yamashita as Deku? That's pretty rare when vomic voice actors return to the anime.

Kenta Miyake probably will be good as All Might as well, even if I'd prefer someone more hammy.

Lovin' what I'm seeing so far.

This will be the next big thing for Jump, for darn sure.

So, apparently the Anime already has a 3DS Game and Arcade Card Game tie-in in the works.

Looks like they're already trying to push this to be the next big thing. My only concern is whether or not Bones will be able to handle the work load if this does turn into a long runner. Longest project they worked on was the 2nd Fullmetal Alchemist series, which ran for 5 cours. Most of their stuff has been 2 to 4 cours.

At any rate, I wish the production committee on this project luck.

I wouldn't worry too much about that, because there are going to be breaks in the production - it's not as if they have to produce the series for three years straight. I would expect it to follow the Haikyuu/Kurobas production model.

Jump's only newer long runner are Toriko and World Triger, both by Toei. Most of their popular stuff nowadays follow multiple 2-cours pattern like Haikyuu, kurobas, Assclass.
