What happened to Chachamaru? She "died" to overwork with Negi or what?

Chachazero shows up in the first preview pages, seemingly inactive on a shelf above Eva's head as she drinks/eats. Who knows why she'd stop working if Eva still retains magic to power her up.

Chachamaru was mentioned to work very closely with Negi, so it stands to reason she'd be at his side at all times, maybe even when he died. And if he really was killed, anything powerful enough to kill him would have easily destroyed her too.

If negi is buried with the konoes, does that mean he ended up with Konoka? Lol. I can see at as the surprising yet fitting that asuna described when negi mentioned who he liked. Or married setsuna and their child married konokas

Will this series solve the greatest mystery of Negima, the gravestone near Negi's that read 'I told you I liked apple'?

Edit: Fridge Horror at its finest- The panel with the 'Dead' (if they are indeed dead) shows them still very young, like they were during Negima's epilogues. Not any older when they tell Evangeline goodbye. Is this supposed to mean they all died young (which obviously would mean violent massive means), or was it drawn that way merely for public recognition purposes? Let's remember how, save Ayaka, none of the 3-Aers seen in the pictures Asuna saw in the 'bad future' were shown as older than they were in the chapter 355 epilogues either. To add to it, Natsumi in that goodbye panel looks like she could be pregnant...

Eh. Tail-end negima was similar enough as far as scale goes, but everyone either healed or shrugged it off. Some of the facial expressions were pretty twisted though.

Evangeline makes for a surprisingly good mother figure.

From the looks of it, this series seems like it will generally be standalone with some references to its prequel, Negima.

This would also give meaning to the title. A theory posted in AQS Forums is that UQ is supposed to be the sound for Yuukyuu (悠久) which means eternity (kinda like how people use QB to refer to Kyuubei because the sound of the letter and the word matches). In that sense maybe the title means it's a story about those who are "holders" of immortality, which means those who are immortal.

With that in mind, why I do have a feeling that this story may be Ken Akamatsu try to do his answer to Madoka Magica (with him making sure that this is set in the future to ensure that the only Negima character really involved in this is Evangeline)?

Eva is too emo-ish. I guess something big happens in the 70 years blank.

Though I am intrigued with Touta's backstory. Plus, the side characters look interesting.
Too many sword users though. It's going to be boring unless they all use different styles.

IIRC, she also was in the same space clothes in her and Nodoka's 355 epilogue. It seems she joins the space program in both timelines.

Since it's printed in Weekly Shonen Magazine (which previously ran Mahou Sensei Negima), there should be a chapter every week...but when Negima was still in full swing, Akamatsu used to take a week off every month to prevent himself from getting overwhelmed by his own workload.
