(Hi) Gushing over Magical Girls (Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete)

I do kind of like the cut to the magical girls during that attack. While I'm not sure about disregarding the chance civilians could be dragged into this villain vs villain situation, I get the logic. Sulfur isn't wrong. Right now they just aren't strong enough and that's a serious issue. They are saved by the fact that Utena doesn't want to kill them, but that's hardly a comforting reality.

But I mean...that's pretty much game. Sure Giant girl and Lord are likely to be strong. But it's now 5 vs 2. If they can build up any semblance of teamwork that'll be it. Even better if they just lure out the other girl and crush her 5v1. At the very least losing half her team should throw the breaks on any plans by Lord.

A good reminder of how Alice is just broken. Outside of extreme brute force you can eliminate an opponent just by tossing them in a doll house. Even without the bluff they probably could have handled Loco 3v1 just fine.

Sadly for Loco unless this experience can be transferred into concerts where she's wearing clothing I don't think her career has much hope. I hope people actually were trying to let her down easy and telling her that her singing was worse than death instead of just giving her death stares. Though says a lot that she couldn't face the music herself.

Presuming Leber goes along with it, that's a big win. Mostly since she's actually the prize here. Loco just brings the same kind of firepower that they have with Kiwi, just a bit more of it. While there's a million ways to make good use of Leber's ability in combination with all the unique skills they've got going for them. Thank goodness Utena doesn't want world domination since we haven't seen a team that can actually handle them on the magical girl side.

I assume that part of the issue was that she was simply trying too hard and forced her voice to the break point instead of singing properly within her range.

The humiliation that Baiser put her through resulted in her pulling back, not oversinging it, and she sang properly for the first time.

well, a few real fans cheering is much better than dozens of fake fans. Loco efforts to sing is finally rewarded.

I was noticing the ED had all 5 girls now and more vocals. And speaking of (censored) vocals I'm guessing there's going to be more to Loco and Leber's scene in the BDs... it was conspicuously quiet other than the musical accompaniment.

good chapter but I don't know about leo's new bankai, it doesn't go with what her power is. I mean it looks cool but from a military weapon girl to a for the looks of it a close combat cat?, that's weird.

I wonder if the magical girls will join at the end?, if not I expect they get rejected by everyone and make the ernomita their new heroes, since they are the one saving the city meanwhile the magical girls are in a complete useless training for azure.
