I considered that myself, but "species" leads me to believe that Oda was specifically referring to non-human creatures, and I'm pretty sure that Minkmen counts as a type of human (albeit an "evolved" race, like the fish-people). ^Kinda just brought up in that post above yours, but fish-people are supposed to be an evolved form of human (Arlong even specifically brings that up eons ago in East Blue), so.... I guess we can say it's a bit of both, maybe? Honestly, I wouldn't really surprised if they were just a different race, though.... we've already seen a bunch of freaky-looking people throughout the series already, whether they're half-fish or not (like the giants, which have demonic-looking individuals like Oars among them).

About the next chapter: On normal circumstances, yes, there would be a break this week, since 693 was released on a double issue. However, it's become sort of a tradition for year-end chapters to be released MUCH earlier than usual. That being said, I've seen some sources say that we should get the 694 spoilers as early as tonight, so keep those eyes peeled!

The chapter number is wrong. The spoiler is supposed to be for 694, not 698. In any case, if that spoiler is the real deal, then that's a crappy way to end off the year 2012.

My bad, quick finger..

Arlong Park also have a short spoiler out from redon with a frame from kaze1028.

Looks like the Chinese spoiler was half true.

Franky part wasn't in ther but Monet's heart part was mentioned including the part where Caesar is stabbing(?) the heart that he has.

But the biggest cliff hanger that the Chinese spoiler didn't mention is:

Baby 5 mentioned she is a morphable/changeable(hentai) human weapon and Franky responded he loves "hentai" And the chapter title is incidentally "Hentai" Oh, and as some have already guessed, the heart belongs to Monet __________________

But one thing worth note: Spoiler for ending: Doflamingo is along and it's specifically mentioned by his subordinates, so I doubt this will be a serious confrontation if there is one at all. __________________
