I already mentioned in the Image thread that the 4-koma had already been translated, by the group that did the Ume-sensei dojin. Got no reaction though.

Edit: I saw the comparison for ep3. Is there one for ep4? In particular, I would like to know if they changed the nameplate on Mami's apartment so that it matches the one shown in ep10 instead.

Hmmm..we've confirmed a figma Madoka Kaname (WonFes exclusive, sadly), I just wonder if we'll ever see any of the other girls. Personally I'd love a Mami figma.

...did I mention that some figma's heads are removable?

What makes you think they won't release the others? Sure it would be a while, but once they release one of them, we should see the rest. Amirite?

I think it's due to her lazy eyes, which is why she can't open them that wide to begin with, so they fixed it lol

Got to watch the BD of ep 4, skipped over 3 because I was discussing Mami's apartment nameplate with someone. I have to say, I'm a little... disappointed that they stuck with the blank liquid containers during the attempted mass suicide scene. I'll be even more disappointed to learn that it's due to someone screwing up the mastering process again.

I thought it was done to evade unfortunate coincidences... Unlike Rocky and Dog Drug Reinforcement, one wouldn't want to evoke a parallel with a real brand name here.

But because they censored both the mixing scene and mom's advice, it no longer makes sense how Modoka realized what was going on. And it's the BD by this point, they're no longer beholden to broadcast standards.

No, but if a product name is similar enough to a major brand and it's portrayed in a negative light, some companies can sue you legally. Depends on the actual laws on what one could call "defamation", and if a company can believably argue that the portrayal will cost them sales.

...alternatively, it could be that no such product/chemical is available and they just put that whole thing in for drama purposes.

The chemicals and the expected reaction are very real and it is extremely dangerous to mix common cleaning agents like that. Just like Madoka's mom warned.
