It's Yandere Simulator's two-year anniversary. However, Yandere Dev is sick and tired of people constantly email him so he's making some ground rules of what emails are allowed.

I personally think the bit about him not needing a 'secretary' is silly.

In a small indie dev group, a producer essentially does everything he said he doesn't believe a 'secretary' would be able to do well/to his specifications/efficiently. If he's too paranoid and/or headstrong to give those duties to someone who's sole job would be to do those things in a real gaming company in the gaming industry... then he has little to complain about. If you won't hire a producer, either develop a better system of handling your email or just suck it up.

His foresight must not be very good if he put this much time into making a video that'll fall on deaf ears. The sorts of people he's trying to reach out to and stop from sending emails aren't the ones who are going to either:

a) See this video
b) Take its content to heart
c) Recognize their own shortcomings and realize he's talking to them

Ultimately the people sending him these sorts of useless email are mostly going to be of the type that this video won't affect. I agree Kismet-chan. He needs to suck it up and face reality or hire a secretary that can actually diminish his workload. Relying on the internet to listen to you is like trying to teach a cat to perform in a dog show.

I suspect Yandere Dev doesn't want a secretary because he's a private person who cares about his privacy and doesn't want to take a chance someone will blurt it out immediately after finding out. (This kind of a thing has happened in video game development (eg. A fan telling the world a character he created will appear in his favorite videogame despite signing a NDA with the developers of the game to NOT REVEAL the news until they say so. The result? The developers decided to not include the fan's character.))

Also, the latest Hitman game has gave Yandere Dev some ideas what to implement in the game.
