As for the trailer... It's good enough I guess, but it didn't really show some of the main elements of the series... Nono, not plot points, but main elements namely...

Touma's voice is okay.

Misaka's seems fine too, but it'll take a little adjustment.

I'll need more of Index;s voice to make a final judgement, but it don't look good.

Too squeaky- While Iguchi Yuka does use a some what high pitch for Index, she was able to make her sound... I don't know, 'mellow'(?) at times?

That is to say, Index & Tsukihi is different from Maria & Yashiro.

That's my take on it.

The trailer was nice. Really happy to finally hear how some of the characters are going to sound. I like the voices I have heard so far. I wish they would have showed accelerator during the trailer, but I guess that will have ot be a surprise.

^Well I guess they're trying not to throw too much into the trailer. You know keep it on the magic part.

Overall I've got to say I like the voices a lot. I don't like Index's very much but it's not at the level where I can't stand it. Besides it's too early to tell with such a small sample.

Not really, everybody has to start somewhere.

Hell the Japanese seiyuu for Index and Touma were no-names before landing their roles.

Still if it bothers you, just remember the golden rule- "Be thankful it isn't 4kids."

She's okay to good, but abit too mature sounding imo- nothing immediately bad, just different from what I had in mind...

Kaori and Touma's dub are fine, though I would need to see how this Micah Solusod fellow do his two trademark catchphrases.

HOLY CRAP the trailer was freaking awesome!

Though Index kinda annoys me in that trailer (nowhere near Iguchi-san's voicing of Index, but I still need more of Monica Rial's voice, I guess), but I just remind myself that Index is Towa No Shirube from DN Angel.

EDIT:So after seeing the trailer, i'm impress with Touma's English VA. He does sound like Johnny Yong Bosch! However, Index wasn't speaking with a British accent! Hopefully Stiyl, Sherry and Laura will have an accent.

The font they're using for the eye catch at the end kind of irks me, but I like Kaori's dub. I might need to put on earphones since I kind of brushed through that and I didn't really have any idea on what to say on Touma's. It's decent, but I like it. But like I said, I'll need a re-run of that via earphones...

... I predict if this were ever to make its way to Animax SEA, it'll take at least a year.

So do you guys think there's a chance for a DVD/BD combo-pack to be released or should I just buy the DVDs? I'd hate to buy the DVDs only for a combo-pack to be announced right afterwards.

If anyone can tell me the name or send me the link i really appreciate it than you >.<, ANYWAY Can't wait for the dub version of the show and hope to god people like it , so we get a season 2 here and let Kazuma Kamachi know that us Northern United States also like his WORK

Listening to this trailer, you guys don't think that FUNimation will change the soundtrack up do you? Or is it normal to use a completely different soundtrack when making a trailer?

God I wish they included Touma's catchphrase in the trailer!

I highly doubt that. If ANIMAX can restrict the licensing of HERO TV, then it should work the other way around. Index — both of its seasons — has already been licensed to HERO TV, and from how things look, the license is exclusive.
