While the dubber obviously is very clear in her dialogue (which is a good thing) she doesn't have ANY of the original Haruhi spirit by Aya Hirano. There's no bounce, no punch, no vividness to the voice that characterizes Haruhi. All praise on the youtube.com page are hopelessly poor assessments.

I laughed pretty hard at the Evangelion parody. I opened the OP from Evangelion and played it side by the side to the Youtube video, and I was genuinely surprised at the amount of details that was put in. One of the best videos I've seen in a while. Oh, there's a "fixed" version (修正Ver according to title) now on Youtube as well.

I said it was 'similar'...I didn't say it was as good Aya Hirano. Everyone knows Japanese are best at voice acting and there's no need to address the obvious. Usually I hate English dub to the guts because they sound so bad most of the time, but Harukochan actually did a pretty decent job for fandubbing the voice of Haruhi in English.

Despise we all discriminate against English dub, there's not need to be bashful even toward the few rare decent English dubs that actually exist, and the chances are it would be difficult as hell to find someone doing as good a job as Harukochan for the English dub of Haruhi...

So don't talk like you know it all and insult the work of others which actually put their effort into it, just because you hate English dub. I admit I would prefer Japanese dub over English dub anytime, but I wouldn't say all English dubs are bad, just because I like Japanese dub more.

i figured it out on mugen

having mikuru out and then sending haruhi out at the same time does something cool.

after the dropkick by haruhi, she takes mikuru and drags her and changes her into the battle maid costume and then mikuru uses her mikuru beam. it doesnt hurt at all.
