Samurai Kyonko. She's the strong, quiet girl. Haruki 'recruited' her from the kendo club to serve as a 'strong, silent character' (despite already having Yuuki, I wonder why ...?) She doesn't talk much, but she's always there, ever vigilant, and surprisingly dependable and effective in crisis situations. In general butt-kicking, she's second only to Yuuki, probably on a par with Haruki.

Ero-Kyonko. (>_<; Anticipating rotten vegetables ...) Virtually the same as Tramp Kyonko, except this one's firmly on the side of the SOS-dan. She has Taniguchi's eye for the boys, she's not dismissive of Itsuko's interest, and she has little in the way of inhibitions to stop her from 'having unique experiences' with aliens, time travellers and espers. Or living manifestations of chaos. She flirts outrageously, follows through on her dares, and attaches little import to her sport. She might also use her sexuality to influence people otherwise antagonistic to the SOS-dan (an 'arrangement' with the student body president and/or the members of the Anti-SOS-dan?). This kind of behaviour can either continue indefinitely (cue 'the Frustration of Suzumiya Haruki'), or she can reluctantly accept the idea she should limit herself a bit if she forms a greater attachment to one person. (But all bets are off as to who that person is and why she chooses them ...)

Y'know... this one could potentially cause serious problems with Ryou's murder attempt... though Samurai Kyonko vs. Ryou would be awesome to watch. At least until the latter starts cheating

Imagine Ryou bringing out that knife, slashing at Kyonko -- and instead of barely dodging, she blocks and immobilizes his arm, then hits him with a sweep kick. Ryou backflips, but Kyonko follows up with a kick for the chest and/or groin, forcing him to backflip again and again, because Kyonko keeps following, aiming punches and kicks at him, until Ryou hits the wall.
Ryou rises into the ready position, knife at the ready ... Closeup of Ryou's face; his pupils contract, he dodges just in time. Kyonko's fist strikes the wall where his head just was, and leaves a visible dent. They face off, with Ryou smiling and Kyonko completely deadpan, despite some blood trickling from her grazed knuckles.
Ryou: "Well ... Organic beings are surely ... interesting. Hmmm. Maybe I shouldn't have taken away the doors and windows so soon?"

I would love to see that, but I thought we agreed on a katana for Ryou?

Maybe he uses data manipulation to disguise it as a bokken? You see guys who always carry one in anime/manga often enough, it'd seem stereotypical.

He was carrying a shinai at the time(which, given his status as a member of the kendo club, isn't completely unusual). I can't remember if he hid a real katana inside or just turned it into one, however.
