but since theres a third book don't you think there should be a third season. at least they should fill in some gaps.

so far as i learned about the third book it talks about the events after the second book or second season now so far as i know its right after the ending of the second which means later it can talk about the soon to be adventures and maybe there child.

There was plans for a third season which was to be based around Hibiki daughters by Dita and Meia, was cancelled in the early planning stage though.

Yes, that was brought to topic about ten years ago.

The idea centered around the never-came-to-be third season would have been the theme about family whereas the seasons one and two respectively dealt with the theme of relationship.

In magazine interviews it was rumored that third season would have answered some other questions about the Earth, but I sincerely believed those were answered through hints or conversations laid out in season two.

I don't get that, either.

In the manga, Hibiki has a child with Dita... as he should. Meia is certainly an important character, but the clear pairing is Hibiki/Dita.

I really need to scrounge up my DVDs for this series and watch it again.
