It seems like the mangaka of this story is a big Twilight fun ;d

Or vise versa except that the 1st twilight book was released 4 yrs ago.

Twilight book,a vampire is introduced as :

1)Beautifull

2)Strong,fast etc etc.

3)Each vampire has a different special ability.

Weaknesses : none(except for tearing them into pieces and then burn them).

Vampire knight :

1st 3 are the same except for they actually have a weaknesses and split into different group vampires(i forgot what types ;d),well the ones that loose control and the ones that don't ;d

Overall story Twilight : A girl has fallen in Love with a guy that turns out to be a vampire,the Guy loves her too but he's afraid that he might hurt her,won't be able to hold back and will drink her blood,her best friend(which turns out to be a werewolf and a great enemy of vampires is in love with her too),in the end she loves them both but picks only 1(Which i'm not going to spoil incase some will want to read the books)

Lots of Dangerous stuff along the way ofcourse ......

I think this is how pretty much this story is going to end ;d

^^ except the story premise of each are COMPLETELY different from each other. they have a few story elements that are alike, but overall they're more different than they are similar.

@ noktown: I'm sure Vampire Knight can be compared to the other 237862394 vampire stories out there too, besides Twilight ( it's always Twilight lol )

Though I find VK better than Twilight in my opinion.

Because last month left us hanging at the most interesting part (as usual, but x10). Yuuki and Zero have been standing there for months, and now Kaname did for a month, too. Someone hand those poor suckers some foldable chairs.

So what's gonna happen? Will Zero complete the love triangle by confessing his love for Kaname? Or will Rido come back from the dead to haunt our trio again? Will Yori and Aido make an appearance? And what about that "new vampire girl" that Hino-sensei promised to show us? Don't tell me it was Sara all along...

How come I can't help but feeling that Kaname lost even though he won Yuuki.

It felt like this chapter is a setup for a tragic love between the two. I can't help but feel that Zero has already won.

Especially since now that Rido is already dead. No one can stop Kaname now. The only major arcs left bar any surprises are Zero hunting down Kaname/Yuuki.

I feel the only definitive way to get a KanameXYuuki ending is if Zero is dead. I just can't see him living unless he ends up with Yuuki

Actually, this is supposed to be the midway point of the series, even though I won't be surprised if "part two" will turn out to be much shorter than "part one".

It feels like this is THE ONE chapter we've been waiting for for a long time now. Zero is still overdoing it and saying unreasonable things, but that long standoff is finally resolved and we can take back the foldable chairs...

THE KISS!!!!!!!!!! *_____* Poor Zero, he sounded so desperate. ;_; And he was so honest about his feelings, it was so sad. );
I'm kind of relieved that he's leaving Yuuki for now.. because they have too many barriers and differences separating them for each other. I think they need many more experiences to fill in the gap, so that they can truly sympathize with each other and be on the same level. ^^ Plus, their farewell seems a bit ominous.. like there is going to be a lot going on before they are reunited (^^;; I have no doubt they will meet again, even if their next encounter is not a happy one ]=).

So far everything is going as I'd hope it would. Great chapter and I love the developments in it.

Now we still have a lot of questions to answer. Where will Zero go now and who will he go after to fight first? What is Kaname planning and where is he and Yuki off to? What going to happen to the rest of the night class and what about the Chairman? Can't wait for these questions to be answered and to see what's in store for us next.

I actually wouldn't mind if they gave Zero a new love interest. I don't think it would work against a ZeroxYuki ending as they would both be trying to move on in their respective lives but would be unable to stop thinking of the other. Eventually I see them getting back together but that just my hope. I think the parting is good for both of them and the separation will get to them either realize they both truly love each other or were only being depend on the for support. I doubt the triangle will fully be resolved till the end as it is one of the main focus of the series. They'll at least leave a little doubt even if it just to tease us.

Zero- I think he just took a step forward. Still, he has a ways to go. About time emo-boy!

Kaname- My respect for him just keeps growing the more I learn about him. And somebody needed to tell Zero off. And I am impressed that he stoped the attack even though Zero deserved it.

Yuuki- She's got her feelings sorted now. Hopefully she can move forward too.
Zero and Yuuki will do better apart I feel. Zero needs to stand on his own and Yuuki needs to figure out this Vampire world wich she is now apart off.
