I think it will last b/c the BoJ is inflating the yen on purpose so that Japanese exports stop suffering so much. Japan relies on exports immensely, so a strong yen just hurts everybody in the world.

But I am no expert in money, and even the experts can't tell the future that well, so I may have messed up that sentence above somewhere.

I don't know if I'd call it amazing, but it's certainly reasonable again for the first time since 2008.

I just bought a few things through Yahoo Auctions and the conversion rate was almost 1 to 1.

Yeah, but it's still stronger than the dollar by a bit, and back in 2008, the dollar was stronger by a bit. Definitely nice, don't get me wrong, but amazing would be like it was a couple of years before 2008, when it was like 120 yen to the dollar.

I've certainly noticed (in the UK) that I'm getting a much better deal on buying stuff.

I'm just so glad since there's so much stuff I already pre-ordered and then last month the oven and washing machines broke which I had to pay for as my Mum didn't have enough money (she's paying me back, but it took a massive dent in the only money I have).

Yet Japan relies on imports just as much (maybe even more), and those will be more expensive to buy when your money is worth less

Aren't you getting use of those devices as well?

Having a hobby is nice, but still a luxury, don't forget that priorities weigh heavier than some lumps of plastic

Got my Sena and Kuroyuki today. Forced me to re-arrange my winged girls shelf entirely, due to Sena's massive base. I have Tenshi due next month so have to keep that in mind too.

This is discounting Madokami, and all the winged Touhou girls, as they are on their own series focused shelves. Also I have a Ziska I didn't put on this shelf, as despite being a beautiful figure, she doesn't quite belong with this lot.
