I've been waiting for the 9th chapter of the Light Novel of IS for like a a year or so. But it haven't come out yet and all I see all pictures.

I haven't seen any words from the characters yet. If you have seen volume 9 of IS Light Novel, then please tell me what's happening in that volume.

I know. I heard this "third season" is supposed to come out 2016. I really doubt that. More volumes of the LN need to be released before that can happen. Plus, I'd liked know the source of the rumor.

If they be bring the third season of IS, then it better be greater than the last two seasons, and Ichika better get much stronger than he is now. I get the feeling that the third season will be their third year of ISA. After what he have been through. Including World Purge.

If anything, the anime managed to be worse than the novels themselves.

I'm not holding much hope. Date A live and IS are direct competition and both managed to... Not perform to expectation. So as long as more series selling well, it be a while before they get sequels.

Well, personally, I think DAL still performs much better than IS with a movies in the works and the novels are still at the top. Sure, the second season preform poorly, mostly due to IMS's fault, while the second season of IS, let's just say the source itself aren't really that good.

Until the DAL novels themselves are actually bad like IS, you're pretty much wrong. The DAL novels are a massive hit.

And I still get erked a little when I see someone bringing up how "bad" S2 was. Other than the animation, it was just fine. And you're only getting the bad animation if you're only watching the free (aside from channel cost, but I doubt many people payed for a channel just for DAL) TV-aired version. The BDs, which are what you actually pay for, had massive improvements and show that IMS does good animation when it can. (the movie shows this too, as the full trailer has displayed quite clearly) 40+ minutes of additional scenes added (which fittingly brings the overall season length to 12 episodes' worth) and all the disfigurations in the animation were fixed, plus boosted animation all around.
It's a simple "free = less quality, paid = better quality" concept.

That shouldn't be something to be praised though. True that premiums should have their improvements compared to the original but what you're saying sounds like it's excusable to half-ass a product because they weren't getting a big enough paycheck for it.
