So I take it Naruto never talked to Hinata about the confession? Doesn't seem to bother her. She still loves him. Failure is not an option when it comes to Naruto-kun.

That's your opinion and I respect that. But I to find it that it's insulting to the characters and the audience. I am a fan of Sakura, but instead of seeing the girl who is smart, strong etc etc. I see a girl that's very much stupid (Sasuke). So yes it's insulting to both her character and me as an audience.

to me, this chapter basically announces the death penalty of the pairing between Naruto and Sakura... I mean, Sasuke won't get more eviler (will he?) and if Sakura still hasn't abandoned him now, she won't abandon Sasuke when he redeems himself in the future (not saying it must happen but this is Shonen after all XD)

And this chapter may be enough to make me change side and root for NarutoXHinata instead...Hinata is the only girl who truly cares about Naruto...what a lucky bastard he is and it's a crying foul that he never returns anything back to Hinata

But on the other hand, you could say Naruto and Sakura are perfect fit because both of them are too obsessed on Sasuke

Naruto knew that Sakura loves Sasuke ever since the POAL moment in part I......and yet he still loved Sakura when he came back from his training in part II.


If Sakura can still love a guy who tried to kill her, then it is also possible for Naruto to still love Sakura (since the stupid things she has done are minor compared to Sasuke)......


Kishi wants them to remain one-sided.

I second that. I would take seeing a chapter that has Sakura and Hinata in a good battle over a chapter of them saying Naruto-Kun and Sasuke-Kun anyday. The pairings themselves wouldn't be so bad if they had decent development and didn't make the two of them look so... I don't know... weak minded (if that's the word I'm looking for)

That being said I know there are a lot of people who find that sort of thing romantic perhaps a lot of Japanese fans find that romantic thus why Kishi is seems to be reinforcing these two pairings.

Nah... he doesn't write a thing about it... just endless loops of "sasuke kun" and "naruto kun". The only thing in what kubo is better than kishi is that even Orihime has an air of badassery and i'm not talking about romance, i'm talking about character's development. Orihime can be worst than Sakura and Hinata with her "Kurosaki-kun", but kubo keeps her like a damsel in distress and he doesn't try to give her a status of heroine. Kishi tried to create Sakura as an action girl, but he only could accomplish that two o three times until now.

But anyway, this is shonen manga so don't expect more romance than there was in Dragon Ball, One Piece, etc...

That's my point... in Naruto doesn't exist romance at all.
Don't confuse Shonen Manga (School Rumble, I''s, and all the Harem Manga) with Action Shonen Manga... and futhermore you can find romance in Action Shonen Manga: Rurouni Kenshin, Inuyasha, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, even Hajime no Ippo!.

I think Naruto just forget about the confession made by Hinata because of the rage after seeing Pain stabbed Hinata .

I think there's some romance in Naruto I think I incline the Naruto with Shakugan No Shana .
