That's true...

But hey, even though it seems as if Jil only started entertaining romantic thoughts about Kaaya in the final parts of the series, that's still a very important piece of development. The build up for the two may have been lacking (and to some, not even convincing), but it still goes in line with the first season's OP so far. Until the surprise ending, that is.

The second season is different now however. The focus seems to be more on resolving past issues instead of solely building up a budding romance from scratch. With that said, while the OP for the second season is still significant in painting us a picture of the story's characters, it could also be playing around with viewer expectations.

Can't wait for the second episode! I want to know how Melt and Koopa are faring after the events of the first season.

Great first ep. It's a lot more conventional than so far but it's really cute. Child Ki is absolutely adorable and I liked how they showed why she's like that. The dynamic seems to be a lot smoother right out of the gate but I think that's because the character personalities in this mix are a lot more compatible overall.

I really don't mind who Jil winds up with, Kayaa or Fatina. Both girls make a good pair with him. Hell, I don't mind if he takes both of them

(Unlikely to happen)! Though it feels like Fatina doesn't truly love him yet, she's just looking for comfort after what happened. She'll probably actually grow true romantic feelings for Jil as they journey up the Tower again.

I can not wait to see the interaction between Jil and Fatina as they sort out their feelings throughout the series.

But what I really can not wait to see again is...

Eh? All we're saying is the connection of Jil being with Fatina at the start, and then meeting Kaaya in the battlefield (like meeting her on a baseball field) are the same, which they are.

I have no idea why this is on the unaired section.

For the first episode.
I was really really hoping for a comedy act or a lot of parody like the first season. But they went straight for the story and introduction of the characters already. It's still pretty good. It seems, this anime has a little more budget or money put in it. The story may actually be more deep and funny than the first season. The story is pretty clever so far. They added some twists and new characters.

I was hoping I could see who the summoned loli was in the first season. The wind sorcerer brought the coffins and summoned this loli, I thought I would see or know her role already.

Lastly, I thought coopa was all grown up. There was a person with light bluish hair, and I thought they skipped a lot of time and she was coopa. It turns out only 6 months have passed so that person couldn't be her.

I love how i'm pretty much the only person who doesn't dislike Neeba at all. I actually find him pretty awesome, especially in the first season.
