I just started reading this LN and I really enjoy it(I feel ashamed that i did not know anything about this LN until a few days ago ).

Yes, while there are quite a bit of open ends, Orba becomes the Dragon King of Melphius, and he and the princess do end up together, and the princess does realize his identity in the end.

What happened to the step-sister princess? How did she discover that Orba was a fake? And if Orba did come back after a few volumes, what stopped her from revealing the imposter?

Was fedom out of the picture by then, that Orba managed to secure his power as Emperor?

The Baka-Tsuki translation seems to have stalled... T_T

Hi! just recently read rakuin vol 1 and 2, very rich on world building a lot details, im really interested about the interactions of orba and the princess for the upcoming volumes, thanks a lot to Mr. translator for bringing a great novel to us

I'm waiting for the same, heh. If the progress log can be believed, vol 4 and 5 are already translated by someone else; and will be added when 3 is done with; so that's sure a big backlog.

Speaking of, I heard about someone that the author's current ongoing work is a prequel to this; but I haven't found any evidence of that and all of the locations names are simply different and it's not added to the Rakuin wiki in any way....

It's set some fifteen years earlier than Rakuin no Monshou, takes place on the other side of the continent (near and in Arion) and involves a completely different cast of characters, so that is probably why the wiki doesn't mention it

Holy...three volumes worth of content...heavy breathing. This and Sekai no Owari no Encore are good reads.

So speaking about the new series, Leo Attiel Den, the fourth volume came out this month and although no names are given, characters who are almost certainly Orba and Vileena appear right at the end.

Basically, the story is framed as a tale told by a unnamed narrator who has been invited to the Court of an unnamed country to tell the truth about Leo Attiel to its unnamed monarchs, years after Leo Attiel's country was destroyed by Allion.

This doesn't really impact most of the story which is told in a normal, straightforward way (third person narrative, shifts in perspectives, insight into characters' thoughts, etc.), but the framing device does come up at the very beginning of vol.1 and the very end of vol.4. And if the emperor and empress who appear at the end of vol.4 aren't Orba and Vileena, I'll eat all my hats. So while Leo Attiel is far from over, this definitely gives me hope that at some point in the (probably distant) future, Sugihara will give us more of Orba's adventures.

And since I'm about 95% sure that the mysterious wandering storyteller is Leo himself, I'm hoping he is trying to get Mephius' support to take back his country, Atall.

it's been two or three years since i've first took interest in this novel,yet in spite of lack of translation i never forgot about it;thank you for giving me hope again.
