i agree with you sapper they cannot do a proper introduction with the episodes left. Either way im still heavily disappointed with Liliana's introduction and its as depressing if not more so then Yuri's

Liliana's tsun-tsun moment is overload!!!! I really hope Erica or Yuri will have some moments like this as well...
and Godou is dealing with it using gentleman's way... respect!

I hope I can see more Liliana's tsun-dere moment in upcoming episode
and of course her 'trolling maid' as well
(I even abandoned and forgot the main point of this episode like conversation with Athena and confrontation with Perseus) xD

Seeing as I highly doubt the last girl will be introduced the next episode, that leaves her only 2 episodes, 3 if its 13 episodes. With that short amount of time to establish herself as a main harem member, she has no time to act like lili and warm her way up to him or the viewer. She's probably gonna have to be VERY aggressive, don't see her acting shy towards Godou at all...

That or they pull a Maken-Ki were the red head was in a lot of the promo art and covers, but she was only a side character.

So, flaws and pacing issues aside, I heard that the public in Japan is receiving the Campione! anime surprisingly well? Anyone got any numbers or stats!?

Frist volume doesn'tgo on sale until the 26th, but from what I've heard pre-orders have been very low.

Interesting. Since Vol 13 of the LN is coming out, and I heard that they were inserting comments that the anime had a great reception.. oh marketing spin!

There's a difference between 'great response' and 'great sales'.

There are plenty of shows with great reception but horrible sales

Great reception usually means either a lot of positive talk (without sales to back it up), or it caused the LN sales to increase without the anime actually selling well.

Ben-to for example, the show had a good reception among the public but its sales were below average at best (about 1200 units per volume I think, I blame Ume's rage inducing parts that discouraged potential buyers).

Real messed up considering its suppose to get real good from where the anime left off...I'd love a season 2
