Plot Summary:

Tomoya Aki, a male high school teenager who works part-time to fund his otaku lifestyle (anime, dating sims, and related merchandise) encounters a beautiful girl one day during spring vacation. A month later, he finds out that the girl is his classmate, Megumi, who is hardly noticeable to her classmates. Hoping to create a visual novel computer game, he turns to school beauties Eriri Spencer Sawamura for designing the art, and Utaha Kasumigoaka for writing the game scenario. Forming a group called Blessing Software, Tomoya then recruits Megumi to star as the "heroine" (the main character's love interest) of his game. The series follows their adventures in developing the game and their plans to sell it at the Comiket convention.

Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata (Saekano) gets sequel. It was announced at an event today although this doesn't surprise me much. The official site also updated and posted the news now:

Ep 0 is out on anime strike. Anyone seen it? It's another fanservice episode sort of similar to season 1 ep 0.

Episode 0 was just the usual fanservice to bait the viewers and induce the first part of an endless waifu war. Oh and also tomoya screaming like always.

Eriri was especially annoying this episode, Izumi and Utaha the best parts and Megumi being herself, quiet and always looking what's happening.

First OP wasn't that great either but sure this one is a downgrade.

They have like 12 episode and they choose to make a full FS episode, bloody brilliant.

Can't say I'm ready for cancer but I want to get off of this train but too late for me.

They still have 12 episodes though. Ep 0 doesn't count. Though I enjoy my bait.

I guess I'm the only one who's excited for this rollercoaster. I'm more worried that there will be pacing issues

If you can endure the pain of the bad writting + awful MC combo then you're a brave person.

I'm quite sure that isn't the proper Opening, they must be keeping it for Ep01. But the music is nice

I have more faith in maruto than random writers so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. His other games damekoi and parfait were also good as well even if we exclude white album.

Even if this isn't great, I feel like it's better than most of the season and I can only really think of a few shows I would rather watch more like sagrada reset, sukasuka, or uchouten. it'll be lots of fun.

The point is that this is like an experiment that greatly differs with his classic writing style and caters to the general public.
