Wouldn't she be an ethnical iranian? Those can be rather fair skinned, especially women who protect themselves from the sun.

As your link points out, there isn't any one Iranian ethnic group. Of the ones that exist in modern Iran (and presumably Azadistan), the Persians are the most numerous, and it's likely that Marina is Persian. Features-wise, Persians are generally a lot closer to European norms than Arabs, so they shouldn't have any stereotypical Middle Eastern appearance.

However, I'd like to point out that Marina is no more "white" than most other anime characters, and that there isn't all that much in terms of predominant ethic features that differentiate her from Sumeragi or Liu-Mei or Katie. And for that matter, most anime don't go to very great lengths of this kind.

Except when they decide to show a black person. There are enough fat lips in various anime for the NAACP to sue their way to the next century.

On topic though, I subscribe to Marina being ethnically Persian because I've seen some fair skinned Iranian immigrants. However, everyone is quite white in this anime.

I should have said fair skinned. Other than Barrack, President 00bama, and maybe some extras, it seems that Setsuna and Shirin have the darkest skin tones.

They have dark skin tones, but still skin tones do vary for the other characters, and even "Asians" like Alleluiah and Hong Long have skin tones that are slightly darker and less "white".

What is the connection between the Gundam Unicorn and the Gundam Unicorn Banshee? Are they separate suits, or is the Banshee an upgraded Unicorn, or what?

Eyes:
Nena: yellow
Michael: red
Johann: gray

Hair:
Nena: red
Michael: blue
Johann: green

Question 2: Why is Mileina's hair brown?
Ian (brunet) + Linda(blonde) = Mileina(brown)?

But then, all lockon's family are all brown haired.

To my knowledge, the Unicorn Gundam Banshee is the second RX-0 unit. It's currently on Earth.

Not much is know about it. Banshee is the name given to it by its pilot. Banshee's specs are identical to Unicorn's though it seems to have slightly different weapons. For some unknown reason, its Psychoframe glows gold in Destroy Mode. It was also called "Psychoflame" in the first image of it though it's probably just an error.

Yeah, sounds like gratuitous engrish to me. Alright. So apparently the Banshee hasn't appeared in the series yet?
