Me too, pretty much. Hard to imagine there are many series that launched more fans into the genre than Eva. It was a harsh one to start out with in some ways, but it certainly exposed me to the possibilities of the art form.

Ah, that's better. Looks awesome.

Asuka at 0:58 = love.

But man I hope Kaworu will get more than just another short segment on the moon this time. >_>

0:41-0:43, something with very thin legs is walking on the red sea (with a battleship sinking nearby), and the water instantly freezes upon contact, is this a new angel?

You are right, its a new angel, at least a new form and freezing ability.

I'm speculating its either Matarael(Angel of Rain), the Angel with long spider like legs or Bardiel(Angel of Hail), to match the freezing effect, but we know its going to end up as EVA-03.

Its most likely Matarael, no other Angel has such a long appendage, unless they're doing a massive makeover of the Angel.

Ramiel has modifications, but they stuck with its original design as a default form, I'm sure they'll keep the rest similar for homage purposes.

EDIT: It follows straight to showing us Bardiel attacking from the sky. I had this suddenly image in my mind that maybe Bardiel can now stretch its limbs so long lol

Gainax and Khara are reaching a "Ghibli standard", not for the style but for the quality...

Another "me too" here. I watched it around the age of 12, and only understood it in full a couple of years later. It's really caused a profound impact on me no anime has ever accomplished to match.

Looking good. I just hope it won't take half a year for the DVD to be released just like 1.0...

Slightly better AND permanent alternative for Eva 2.0's trailer.

Just hit the fourth link - the first ones are Japanese IP-only.

Speaking of which, where is my book 12?
Thats because it doesn't add anything to her character. No real depth, just waste of pages and attention. When you have the whole Shinji and Kanji conflict in her mind going it creates much more depth than just a silly girl crush creates. And no it doesn't make it realistic.

She is getting shafted in the manga. Mostly because her relationship with the main character is cut off (thats why the hospital scene looks like overreaction from Shiunji's part as he and Asuka doesn't have any deeper relationship for him to utter such words) which cuts off a lot of her scenes as well. We do not see her in pain, lost in her adulthood and childhood (Shinji and kanji conflict) what we do see is a blond karate chick a production of sperma bank with her dumb crush that quickly disappears from the sight, without you building any significant bond with her character. I call it shafting her character, specially if we compare her to the anime Asuka which had much deeper insight in her character.

Very nice trailer.

Some frames, look very good, some a little strange. NGE is an anime, i have watched a long while back but already had awsomeness good quality in the way of realistic drawing.

Im looking forward to watch the HD/Blue Ray (1080p) version of this movie.

I guess after the series proper, I just want some bubble gum action from Eva. Besides, recent chapters of TRC are making my head spin again (despite the fact that I salute CLAMP for the development).
