Oh yeah, Shion is surrounded by brothers as well right? I've completely forgotten about that similarity.
For this episode... I can totally understand this desire to see various girls in meido fuku, it's very powerful motivator that could drag even the most apathetic of individuals back into the light! Look at how it almost made our male protagonist show from resemblance of passion and drive before being kicked into submission by his Overlord Mistresses! ...Seriously speaking though, you would think he could be a little more excited to see a woman in french meido fuku goddamnit!

GJ Bu 04 - Hamsters, Maids and Maids
I always thought Mao was more of a little puppy, but hamster also fits. Lots of dressing up this week. Mao's voice during the wedding scene was a good piece of work by Uchida, and while the cultural festival was never actually seen (because, like SeiZon, we're confined to one room), the reactions around it were enough to paint a picture. Kirara continues to get some great lines during every episode in those few moments she does speak. Her logic of "potato meat", and her wordplay-heavy preview got some small laughs out of me. Now that Mori's introduced, I wonder when the rest of the secondary cast will make an appearance. |

It's sometimes nice to see a protagonist who actually open about his fetish, haha.
By the way, they didn't come out of that room at all, did they? Well, actually they came out (of course!), it's just we didn't get to see it...

Another good episode with more curiosities and oddities
The hamster cosplay was funny, but buchou was sure shocked by his hamster expertise XD Didn't enjoy the maid costumes much, as they were showing far too little skin Anyone else thinks that the "instant ramen" part was lacking a punch line? Shion brings up instant ramen as the greatest thing ever, and the other girls (except buchou) are somehow fascinated as well. They are cooking the instant ramen, and... Nothing? Hello? What's the punch line there?

Man episode 4 made me so sad. How can he stand to be treated like such trash. Why does he stutter and stumble over his words. Why does he say things he can only regret, as if some writer is literally forcing him to vomit some nonsense out, so that he can get kicked in the ass by 4 separate people simultaneously.
I can't stop watching this show in the hopes that he will grow a spine and tell those harpies to treat him like a human. But I know he won't.... And even if he did, they'll just tell him some utter garbage about how he doesn't have a sense of humor. ------------------------------------------------------ Picture this. Please for the love of god, picture this. There's this girl who after class, because she had no club to join but was required by the school, got roped into some club with these 4 guys, who just taunt her endlessly. And she can't control herself, she finds them rather attractive. So they pretend they are interested in her, and from time to time, trick her into thinking they like her. But then they admit; Well actually we just wanted to see if you actually thought you were attractive.. And they do it again. And again. And the obnoxious leader of the club, constantly becomes physically confrontational with her. What a funny show this would be. Right? Absolutely hilarious. |

I would find it funny too, but as a SADIST.
For instance, there was a car accident in front of me this morning, because some guy stopped in 40 mile an hour traffic to talk to another guy who was walking by the side of the road. I don't know what he had to say, but it probably wasn't worth what happened to the 2 cars behind him. Then he floored it and fled the scene. I had to pull over so that I could stop laughing. That's just a character study on ME. That says nothing about whether the whole series of events could have served as content on a TV show that would have been entertaining to a general audience. Alternatively, the reverse gender version of GJ-bu itself would be pretty fuckin lame. No content. No characters. Nothing. It would blow. Kind of like the original. But I'm going to keep watching. Because I watch all the shows I can. Because my watching these shows is beyond control at this point. I'm not going to drop any of the 18 shows I'm watching. I refuse. The death march must continue. You're absolutely right dude. Logically, I totally see it. Emotionally, I know my brain isn't going to turn off. So I'll just continue to spin myself out of control about this by analyzing it when I really, really, really shouldn't. |
