Game mechanics-wise, it feels like this season is all about taking wild rejected ideas from previous seasons, and dumping them all into this one. Character-wise, it feels like the franchise is now spinning its wheels a bit, as the vast majority of the main cast(s) already had solid character arcs and conclusions. The main possible exception, imo, is the question surrounding Chinatsu's lost memories, so I hope those memories get restored. Otherwise, this season may seem kinda pointless or even counter-productive, as entertaining as it is at times.

We still don't what Eternal's true objective is. Kiyoi seems to know who the "other girl" is for some reason. Who knows? I have mixed feelings about each episode. Some were okay and some didn't make sense. Hopefully we will get some answers at the ending part of the season. This season didn't even referenced Yuki. I wonder if she got locked up in the "white room".

In the scene where Tama was being turned into the door, Eternal said "Kuro (Yuki) is here." Kuro was Mayu's name for Yuki, so I think she was captured before the series. |

Finally the two casts are crossing over in a big way.
I'll grant it's a bit odd for Ruko to just totally trust Satomi/Carnival like that, but I can understand desperation clouding a person's mind some. And honestly, Ruko vs. Suzuko is kind of a dream match. I don't think this 2nd season of Lostorage absolutely needed it, but it is a big fun match if executed well. And Carnival setting it up the way she did kind of adds to her villain cred, while also making it more likely that Ruko vs. Suzuko has some real emotional edge to it. I'm kinda glad, actually, that the two leads are now facing each other without knowing hardly anything about each other, and kinda viewing each other as a serious obstacle if not an actual villain. It was also good to see Hitoe and Hanna chatting with each other.

...Suzuko's probably going to win this, isn't she?

It's not just that. The only LRIG Ruuko has is also her only key card. That means that when Yuzuki is on the field, Ruuko probably can't use her key card in combination with coin bet to pull off some other trick. This limits her choices further.
She has so much disadvantage it renders the whole thing meaningless. Yes, she's gonna lose. It's way too obvious.
