I have been looking for the original Gao Gao shirt for a while (the white one with black background logo as in the anime) but have had no luck. My Japanese is ...

well below amateur so I honestly have no idea about the ordering/bidding system given here. If anyone can spare some times to let me know how/where I can get the original one, I will love you forever!!

Just kidding, but much appreciated if anyone can guide me on how to get the original shirt. Summer is coming soon and I would like to at least show it around before I get to store it for the next winter (unless I can get a short sleeve one as well

).

there are companies that can place bids for you on yahoo japan auctions (which is the only place I know of where to get it as of now). Some people have listed a few here. I have done one before. It can be costly. If you REALLY want it then go for it.

sign up with them and deposit some money. find the official yahoo japan auction, that is auctioning the gao gao shirt, and use the deputy service to help you bid and win.

the deputy service is all in english and very very well set up

I didn't see this product linked at this thread (saw a similar design, though it's somewhat different from the official design. If it was already posted, sorry in advance), but there's a fan-made shirt that looks like it's very close to the official design.

Gao Gao Stegosaurus Long Sleeve Shirt

And of course there's the T-shirt for those hot summer days.

I've bought the long sleeve yesterday, so I'm looking forward to wearing it soon.

Hm, the Gao Gao Stegosaurus shirt is the first anime-related item that I'm considering of purchasing, since 'Gao' happens to be my last name as well...

Heh, I was quite surprised when Misuzu first said 'gao' which spelt the same way on the fan-sub.

And it looks like the forum isn't as dead as I thought... hmm. Perhaps I will try something after all... Check the board in a while for a thread I'll make if you can~

I wonder if you're serious or joking? Since Gao is a very common Chinese surname. And no, my surname isn't Gao~. (Neither is it Uguu~ or Auu~~, for that matter. )

Anyway, seeing as this ancient thread got resurrected, I might as well ask if that T-shirt is still available anywhere. That would make for a good T-shirt, it doesn't stand out like other anime-themed T-shirt, in that a stranger wouldn't look at you and say "Ugh, bloody otaku", lol, yet you'll be instantly recognized by anyone well versed in Key titles.

It looks like Insani's version is still available through Cafepress in both long sleeved and regular t-shirt styles.
