And, on a more serious note, I'm thinking Shinigami might have had a human form at some point. That or there was some other shinigami for Mosquito to have seen with three full lines.

I think Shinigami may have had a human form before but the final form of the Shinigami may be the lines of Sanzu creating what looks like Shinigami-sama now, it would look cool the lines of sanzu joining together to create a mask for Kidd.

The lines thing makes sense. It also makes sense that Shinigami would to have a "child" that would someday inherit his power cause he's bound to death city. It could have taken years for Kid to mature his power but with Kashin on the loose Shinigami probably wanted to speed up the process.

Right now the that could figh evenly with Kashin would be a Shinigami.

The frog and mice team get their job done with a new form from Mizune. and then Maka, Soul, and Medusa get turnd in to creepy puppets. Also, the trains are driven by monkeys. On LSD.

And all from nowhere , Medusa , Maka and Soul changed into stone puppets?? Reminds me of Pinokio Combined Mizune is really hot. Spoiler: The fact that Mosquito pointed out the Lines of Sanzu are an indication of a shinigami's maturity suggest that, unless Kid's origins are more screwed than it already appears, he will eventually develop the full set of lines without Brew's intervention. Logically, it seems that the effect on Shinigami will only increase. And extending that to its conclusion equals, well, death. Not the first time in this series I wish to be proved wrong, but alas I fear Cub-sama is quite correct. I really can't see Kid knowing. Just doesn't 'feel' right, even for a guy with his mindset and parentage.
