This manga woudnt get any prize for being original but personally i found it pretty entertaining. I hope it doesnt get discontinued >.<
The difference between this manga and american zombie movies is that the characters are much better elaborated and you dont need to suffer the bad quality of low budget zombie movies xD Quote:

I liked this Manga, it was like dawn of the dead... with more tits.
To be honest, his art was probably the only thing keeping the series afloat, but considering his hentai background I was decently impressed with his attempt at story. He was at least trying to make it engaging. I would like to see one of his series succeed, the art is great, and he does show potential. |

2. anyone can point to some of his earlier h-works, purely for research. 3. he needs to find a partner to work on the story side.

Eh, I was never really into the drawings of the people, but I am not really into drawings for attraction anyways. I enjoyed his infected drawings, and his story wasn't half bad. The way it was progressing, the story would have quickly become international. Many nations were mentioned and somewhere back in the story I am pretty sure I remember one of them saying we need to leave Japan. Who can blame them. 128 million on a very small island chain. That is a LOT of infected.

The series is not canceled. It is still officially on hiatus.
The artist (Shouji Sato) is also not the one to blame for the hiatus; that's the writer's (Daisuke Sato's) fault. Although the images don't make it online, Shouji Sato still does color features with Highschool of the Dead characters every month for the magazine the series ran in. Shouji Sato is working on a couple other series now, but let's be fair: he'd be out of the job if he wasn't, and they're not half bad anyway if you ask me. |
